Nice rooms overlooking the Gulf of Trieste!! Very good breakfast buffet with made-to-order as well!! Short walk (or drive) to Miramare Castle. A short 15 minute drive into town. Highly recommend!!

This was our last stop after a wonderful Venice and Trieste visit. This hotel sits a bit beyond downtown Trieste and offers a gentle retreat from all the urban fun. There is the gracious Miramare castle just a short walk from the hotel along a tree lined promenade that stretches both ways along the sea. The hotel is minimalist by design but still comfortable. We chose the spa experience which was well worth it for two travel weary friends. Breakfast was exceptional and staff so friendly and helpful. We had a terrace outside our room where we lounged and admired sunrise and sunsets..... We could not ask for a better experiene! Thank you to all the team!

This boutique hotel is quiet & perfect for solo travelers. The staff at the front desk & the restaurant are most kind & hospitable & they speak English. Irene at the front desk was most helpful to me. She saw me struggling with my roller board to get it up the front steps. She left the desk & came down to help me. I thought that was so special.

The breakfast was superb,all fresh and with so many choices. Sea view from the room which was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful,especially Irene who is a mine of information particularly on buses!

Great spot in front of the sea & a short walk to Miramare grounds and castle. Good comfortable room, soft towels, good shower, efficient air con & good sound -proofing to outside & etc easy to park in hotel parking area. But disappointing that the hotel had no beach area/beach loungers or facilities in front of the hotel, and the only serviced beach area was a walk away, charged for entry. Spa area (private use only) very well equipped, but you do need to book to use. On the room facilities no toiletries provided apart from one liquid soap dispenser by the sink, and no coffee machine/kettle in room for hot drinks, both of which seem a bit minimal for an Adults only hotel. Breakfast was good, staff were good, but the super menu was too limited - only one hot plate on offer. Bus stops very close by with good service to Trieste and the small local port (with boat service to Trieste) but no shops within walking distance, and only a few eateries.

This place was amazing. We booked it last minute and wow from the time we walked in the door the first day to the time we left was amazing. The property was OK. The biggest drawback for us was not being able to adjust the room temperature. It was nice being on the ocean. The restaurant was good. That was probably the best part of the hotel. If you are driving parking can be a bit of a bear.

We only got to stay one night but we wished we could have been there longer. It’s a cute quaint hotel that is nicely kept and staff is super nice. Checkin/checkout was easy and they even called a taxi for us. The hotel is right by the water and the Castello del Miramare is with in an 15 min walk. Would definitely recommend and at least more than one night.
