Welcome to Redwood Beach Retreat, an exquisitely furnished three-bedroom, two-bathroom residence situated amongst the majestic Redwood trees. This serene retreat offers an ideal setting for families and discerning guests seeking a rejuvenating escape, conveniently located a short distance from downtown Trinidad, picturesque trails, and unspoiled beaches. Pet Policy: One well-behaved canine companion is permitted, provided it is not left unattended within the premises or grounds.

Other places to visit are Trinidad State Beach, which is a 10 min walk or three min drive. ** Guest reserving home must be 25 years or older, be staying at the property the entire time and will be considered the responsible party for this booking.

Overall, we agreed this home was clean and very comfortable. It was located near everything and easy to get too. The hot tub was a nice touch for a cool evening. The beds were extra comfortable as well. We loved the beautiful flowers too. The only thing I can say, it is not the short walk to the beach as we had hoped. It seems a bit misleading. I don't feel it would be safe crossing over Hwy 101, but the good news is, it is a very short drive.

Great getaway

The house was great, inviting, clean and very comfortable. Communication was efficient and friendly. We have no complaints and highly recommend this location, especially if you’re looking for a nice quiet coastal getaway. Our family enjoyed the proximity to Trinidad Stare Beach, Clam Beach, the redwoods and some local eatery’s. Of course, relaxing in the hot tub after a fun day of adventuring!

Family of 5-loved our stay!

This home had everything we needed. We have kids ages 4,8, and 11 and it was great space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked, the backyard space was nice to have and it was very central to all the outdoor activities we were doing. We enjoyed exploring the tiny town of Trinidad. We walked to the store and restaurants. The laundry room was also definitely utilized after our outdoor adventures. The owners provided great details and instructions so there was never any questions or confusion during our stay. The house does run quite chilly, so be sure to bring your slippers or extra layers for around the house. Would definitely recommend!

I would definitely recommend this rental.

Exceeded expectations!

This property far exceeded our expectations! It is incredibly comfortable and the location/accessibility to everything Trinidad and thd surrounding areas have to offer is ideal. The neighborhood is quiet and even though Hwy 101 is close, the traffic does not disrupt the peace and quiet the property offers. The home was spotless and we had every creature comfort we needed. We had nothing but great communication from the owners from the time we booked in January, right up to/during our trip in July. We love to visit the area and will plan to try to stay here again during our next trip!♡

It was situated beautifully in the trees. The rooms were large with comfortable beds. The nice patio, large backyard and clean hot tub were a pleasant, relaxing and peaceful sanctuary set in the trees. My wife and four kids all loved this home and have already requested that I make it our normal home to stay in for our visits to the area. We have stayed in other rentals in Trinidad and the Arcata area. This home was our favorite so far. The hosts were very friendly and always responded promptly with any questions we had. We have used other vacation home companies in the area. Trinidad Retreats was wonderful. Thank you for a great home to stay in!

Above and beyond

It is clear this house has been loved and cherished. Beautiful art and healthy house plants made it homey. It was spacious and comfortable, filled with games (we did 6 puzzles!). The open floor plan made for lovely family time- some were lounging on the large comfy couch, some playing games at the large dining table and some were cooking in the kitchen but we were able to all talk and enjoy each other’s company. It was extremely clean and organized and had every kitchen need that came up for cooking three meals a day for three days. Superb and efficient wood burning stove with some complimentary wood. The huge yard with lush green grass was perfect for the dog. The deck and the hot tub were beautiful and lots of fun especially for the teens. All three of the beds were extremely comfortable. This house was better than we imagined it would be, the hosts were conscientious and communicative and we will definitely be back. The location was great too- super close to the local supermarket and walking distance to great trails and restaurants. Can’t wait to see it in spring or summer when the flowers are blooming!

Lovely Home and Location

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. The home seemed well curated with quality items and felt like staying with family, not like staying in a rental. This is a terrific house

And a terrific value for the money. Beautiful deck, great fenced yard for the dogs, high quality kitchen wear, comfortable beds. A nice quiet neighborhood but only a short drive to the beach. We will definitely stay here again, as we love the area and try to visit once a year.

Trinidad home base

The house was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great to cook in. The fenced in yard was nice but after all the rain it was pretty boggy and there were a number of spots a small dog could escape. The location was great and easy to jump around the area. We appreciated the cleanliness and the quality of bedding and towels and all the games. We look forward to future stays in Trinidad! Thank you for hosting us.

Amazing spot!

This house was charming and perfect for our family. Very comfortable. The location is hard to beat so close to Trinidad head and Sue-Meg state park and countless beaches. I would recommend this place!

Perfect spot for a redwood getaway.

Everything here was perfect. Great house, easy access, beautiful town. Hot tub and fireplace were ready to go, bed was amazing, kitchen was well stocked. One of the nicest vrbo properties we've stayed at.

Excellent house. We all loved it

We had an incredible stay at this house! It was spacious, immaculately clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The cozy atmosphere made it feel like home, and the wonderful backyard was perfect for relaxing. Being within walking distance to the beach and local restaurants was a fantastic bonus. Highly recommend this place for a perfect getaway!

We will stay here again!

We would definitely stay here again! Very clean. There are actual redwood trees in the front yard. Even better than what we expected from the pictures. The family room/kitchen area is very large. Great location! close to the ocean (it would be a long walk, but you could walk there). Right next to the 101, so easy to get everything. But did not hear freeway noise, felt like it was in the middle of the woods. Only 10 minutes from the Arcata airport. Great hosts. Had all of the amenities you would need. Very comfortable. Felt recently updated.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The overall place is lovely and location is incredibly convenient! However, it seems like there is some mold and/or mildew somewhere in the laundry room that gets into the hvac system that made my wife's inflammatory system go haywire (she's had previous mold exposure that took her years to recover from). Note that I gave the cleanliness 2 stars nut that is not the housekeepers fault - they were great, as finding/ cleaning mold requires a professional.

Incredible home!

Lovely place

Very nice space furnished with lovely art and Fiestaware dishes. Everything very clean, and the hot tub worked well. Well stocked kitchen. Good location for Trinidad near market. Beds very comfortable. Would recommend.
