"Close to the canyon and beautiful views. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Restaurant near by but not great do hop that we could cook for ourselves. Check out the rodeo near the canyon entrance"

Small but safe and quiet. And has gas and groceries right next door so you have everything you need.

Visitors should know the entire town closes in winter with the exception of 1-2 hotels and 1 or 2 restaurants, depending on the weekend. It’s much lovelier than Bryce Cyn City but sleepier too.

Tropic is a small town located around several attractions in the canyonlands. It shuts down in the off season, but there is a small grocery store, and restaurant. Take off to Bryce, Kodachrome Basin, or several other sites.
