Room was clean if you don’t look under the bed. We lost a toy and fished it from under the bed totally dusty. One bed was falling apart, the side near legs was dangerously leaning over. Mattress was loud and bumpy. All doors creaked - if one of the family members was going to the bathroom during ...

Nice small town with old west vibe with a transition to tourism supported economy.
Small but safe and quiet. And has gas and groceries right next door so you have everything you need.
Visitors should know the entire town closes in winter with the exception of 1-2 hotels and 1 or 2 restaurants, depending on the weekend. It’s much lovelier than Bryce Cyn City but sleepier too.
Tropic is a small town located around several attractions in the canyonlands. It shuts down in the off season, but there is a small grocery store, and restaurant. Take off to Bryce, Kodachrome Basin, or several other sites.
Many businesses were closed for the season
