"Lovely stay, very friendly helpful staff couldn’t do enough for us. Twin room no 4 small but very comfy, very nicely decorated, nice views to the left. Lovely bathroom with nice hot shower. We had an evening meal and breakfast there the food was lovely, service excellent. Plenty of parking, nothing much near by but that suited us. Would highly recommend and hope to return sometime. If you want to eat there at night make sure you book a table in advance, we weren’t made aware of this before hand...

"The property is historic and sprawling but badly in need of some TLC, even just a lick of paint would help. The staff there are amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them and they are friendly and welcoming. Saying that they are rushed off their feet due to understaffing. We ate there on the Friday as a table of 9 and everything was great (although they have a new chef and have changed the menu since we were last there and it wasn't as good - most of the starters were bought in stuff) We...

"Attic room, was nice, however not so great if you are tall. Even at 5ft 8, and partner 6ft 3 spent alot of time bent over avoiding hitting our heads. Bath was spectacular! Room was warm, and restrictors on the windows, so unable to get any air flow. Bed very comfy! Cafetiere and Illy coffee was a lovely touch Was a bit disappointed breakfast was included, but had to.pay extra £4 each for a full english. Food was good though. Staff super lovely."
