"We arrived after an 11 hour drive to find that the room had not been cleaned. There were dirty towels piled in the shower, the bed had not been changed, urine on the back of the toilet, 2 dead cockroaches, so unlikely they have swept the floor in a while. I called their emergency number, and their customer service numbers. They said they would "try" to get someone out there to clean. It took about 8 calls and 3 hours before they finally agreed to refund my money because they couldn't find anyone to clean. I was really disappointed because it looked like a nice place and was in a great location, but I will not stay with this company again. Terrible service and I would not trust them again. On top of that the refund did not include the expedia service charge, so we ended up paying almost $50 for nothing since we didn't stay there. I will also not be using expedia again."

"The home was comfortable and spacious. We loved the furnishings, decor, and cool history items. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms are amazing! The kitchen has everything and more. We loved sitting on back deck listening to the river and on the front deck by the fireplace. We enjoyed going to the Saluda Outfitters and Green River Eddy’s taproom. They had the best food and band. The river is beautiful! I will be going back in the Spring or Summer. Loved! "

Games, fire pit, lake front, morning jogs, latte on the patio, hosts who really care and communicate, the list goes on! Firefly Retreat MUST be on your list and I will absolutely be back. She even noticed when we tried unsuccessfully to open the door 15minutes before check in time and texted to confirm it was us and then allowed us an early entrance! "

"It is a quaint little cabin on the side of a hill. It's comfortable, welcoming, and surrounded by nature. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of exploring. It's perfect for a couple or the solo adventurer."

"Very nice location. Damage from Hurricane Helene made the trek there less than ideal but you can tell they are working. Fireplace wasn't in service which was not great but the property was clean and homey. "
