"I can’t say enough good about our rental experience. Whatever good you read about this cabin, just know the review is spot on….or it’s even better than the review. The management communicates well, is thoughtful, and obviously takes pride in the property. If you want to have 100 other cabins breathing down your neck, this place is not for you. If you are looking for a peaceful stay, a place you can enjoy God’s wonderful creation, and a place to quiet your soul, you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back!"

"Townsend is the perfect place to plan a restful visit to the mountains. The location of the cabin is peaceful with amazing views. The cabin is exactly what it is described to be. The only thing that could use an upgrade is the cooking utensils and pots and pans. Townsend is limited during the off season for restaurants. We love to cook when we visit so we went to Walmart in Maryville to get a larger no stick pan that fit our needs. A skillet or gas grill would be a great addition. I would caution people with disabilities or physical ailments about the stairs. The stairs going to the main bed are very steep and can be tricky to navigate during a late night potty break. . The living room area was great. The couch is super comfy. We weren’t able to navigate the TV for live channels and there werent any directions on how to operate. We used the Hulu app and made do that way. "

"Everything seemed on the cheap. Breakfast was put out in small amounts every day we had to ask for something, no pool towels, no cleaning until after 5, no replacement on towels, sheets were so thin I thought the pillow cases weren't on. Toilet wobbled like it wasn't set properly same with sink. The room was very clean, but walkways and common areas weren't."

"Standard hotel, room ok. The room seemed clean enough but had a funny smell (maybe odd cleaning fluids). Beeakfast was lacklustre no fruit or yogurt, but functional."

"Loved this property! Cabin was tucked in at the end of a very peaceful road. Only one other cabin near it but it was like we were in a remote area. Paved roads & no steep hills but felt like we were inside the national park! Cabin was super clean, well appointed & nicely decorated. We loved sitting on the deck at night…surrounded by nature & quiet! Very pet friendly which is important to us. Set up was great for our elderly Mom who joined us as well. "Everything was great. View was stunning. Cabin had Everything we needed. I wish there were screens on the windows so i could get some fresh air at night. I was very warm and i forgot my fan. Hot tub was great to soak in after a long day exploring. We didn't bring our dog because most of the attractions didn't allow pets. Great vacation. "
