This spacious, clean, comfortable home was the perfect place for our 2 week stay. The neighborhood was quiet and close to shopping and restaurants, as well as many of the places we wanted to visit in the area. Check-in was very easy and the hosts always responded promptly from the time we made the reservation until the time checked out.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were a group of 6 adults and the house was very comfortable for us. It’s a great location for visiting the local attractions. We drove down to Tombstone and also visited both locations of the Saguaro National Park. The house is also close to shopping and restaurants. We highly recommend this listing if you are visiting the area.

The house is located in far SE Tucson. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. It is next to open desert (coyotos, javelinas, cactus). Our host was very communicative and easily accessed when needed.

This home had everything we needed for a month long stay. It was wonderful to have a garage for our car, and a fully fenced, secure yard for our dogs. The bed and sofa are comfortable, and all needed furnishings are provided. The home is clean and feels "lived in" and comfortable, rather than pristine. The owners were *very* responsive and communicative each time we contacted them, and they addressed the two minor issues we had promptly and thoroughly. There is a great grocery store within a 2 minute drive, and the home is very near the East Saguaro National Park. The neighborhood is quiet, and there is a nice park (with dog park) within 10 minutes walk, and a desert trail just around the corner. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in Tucson for a longer stay, especially if you have dogs.

This home is within easy driving distance of Saguaro National Park, so if your intention is to find a reasonably priced place to stay so you can explore the Park, this home is for you.
The home was reasonably clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the outdoor porch was lovely during the day. The property owner was extremely responsive, and tried to address the small things that needed attention when we sent him a message. There were no dressers or nightstands in any of the bedrooms, though, which meant we had to put our luggage on the floors of the rooms rather than unpacking. The owner indicated there were dressers in the garage(?), but the only spare furniture we saw there were cabinets that were secured by padlocks.
The kitchen was sufficiently outfitted, although it wasn't great compared to other VRBO properties our family has rented. However, with a little improvisation, we made it work.
An overall good experience, and the owner was extremely gracious when we provided a list of things we thought would improve the experience, which we appreciated. We would rent from him again if we return for another visit to the Park.

Enjoyed our stay at this Rita Ranch property. Brian was quick to respond to a few minor issues and always kept in touch to make sure we were doing okay. Close to grocery store and restaurants. Perfect location. Weather was awesome. Enjoyed coffee each morning on the covered patio as well as the nice evenings.

First the good – The house was very clean. Linens were all fresh. Bathrooms had no issues. Living room was comfortable and good for visiting as a group. Neighborhood was quiet and friendly, stores and restaurants were conveniently located. If you are looking for a place to use primarily to sleep, and do day trips most of the day, this is a good house.
The Bad – For those of us that spend more time in the rental house then out, there were some areas that could have been improved. First, most of the dishes in the kitchen had residue on them. Typical of people who think they can just put things in the dishwasher and expect them to be clean (which we all know is not true). There were also several basic things missing that $20 at a $1 store would easily solve. A can opener, a liquid measuring cup, clothes hangers (since there are no dressers in the bedrooms), some more washcloths, a shower curtain liner. The box for the TV that was supposed to be able to be able to use Netflix etc would not connect to the internet. And the master bathroom toilet occasionally leaked.
The Ugly – We travel with 2 dogs so I was willing to spend more money for a house with a nice backyard. The photos of this house had a nice green yard. When we arrived, we found a yard filled with nothing but foot high dry weeds. Our poor dogs were covered in burs and foxtails. Then they tracked them into the house. We had to sweep everyday and we still ended up with them in our clothes. I know it is nearing time for winter seed and if it had been a bare earth yard I would have understood, but the weeds were unacceptable. On top of that, the backyard furniture was covered in spiderwebs so there was no way we were going to sit outside and enjoy the weather. And then there was the refrigerator. Every 10-15 minutes it would make a terrible noise. Clicking a whirling. Since the fridge was still cool we tried to ignore it but after a while it was very irritating.
