Great for what we needed
Beautiful place to stay. Convenient location. Very easy check in/check out process.
We just needed a place to crash after each night of the Chili Bowl and this place was perfect. Easy to get to in a quiet neighborhood. Not much more we could ask for.
Very quiet and good location to reach Broken Arrow and South Tulsa. Older property and could use a deep clean and some cosmetic assistance but serviceable for our needs. Mattress in back bedroom was not comfortable for adults but master bedroom was good. Friendly host although somewhat difficult to get ahold of the day we left. Overall not bad but house could use a bit of TLC.
After staying in hotels for decades for travel to the Tulsa and Broken Arrow areas, I decided on trying a Vrbo property in the area. I chose the first one that popped up and now here we are.
First impressions of the duplex were ok, it was clearly an older house that has been lived in. There are a few cosmetic things that could be addressed but that is nitpicking. The house was clean and comfortable. I felt like I was staying with my grandparents when I was younger.
My main complaint was the shower. The water never stopped running even after you turned it off. You could shut the bathroom door But could still hear that slight tone of water running and splashing into the tub.
Lily the property manager and host was super helpful and answered all my questions when I had them.
9/10 would stay again.

Dried up dog poop under the bed
I booked this place for a few reasons. One, for its location; secondly, for the reviews this VRBO had on being cleaned; and thirdly, this place was dog friendly. I DID NOT find this house to be cleaned at all; maybe for a few things but overall this house hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time; I felt like I was living in someone else filth. So I was shocked when I went to reread the reviews and this place was rated 9 out of 10 because this place did not feel like that. The first night after arriving and bringing in our belongings I started to put my luggage away under the bed and found dried up dog poop embedded into the carpet; I could tell that had been there for a long time. So I moved our stuff to the closet and found someone clipped toenails in between the carpet and baseboards; I could also tell nothing has been deep cleaned. All the baseboards were dirty; the walls had stuff on them and I’m not talking about dents and scrapes it was actual stuff that if you took a wet wipe, it would come off so the walls were dirty. I could tell as soon we walked in the house they were trying to cover up the smell and after a day you could tell someone was a smoker at some point. I did appreciate that this place was dog friendly and in a good location but unfortunately that’s it.
The photos are deceiving compared to the actual property. This is a duplex house and it's pretty run-down. The front door was really hard to get into with the key code - you have to pull on the door or else the deadbolt won't unlock. I tried like 10 times to unlock it at check-in and nobody was answering the emergency phone number! Also, the door to the garage doesn't close or lock. The air vents haven't been thoroughly cleaned and were caked with dust and dirt. The bath tub faucet was dripping upon arrival and the shower head didn't work, so I had to get a maintenence request, which took a couple days to get fixed. And when they came in to fix it (while I was away), they fixed a different part of the tub that was broken! It was a complete mess! Also, my car was scratching underneath because the driveway was so steep, so only drive an SUV if you're staying at this house. I got a good deal for this rental compared to other houses nearby, but now I know why, and completely regret it! For the Pros: the house is located in a safe neighborhood with TWO public parks within walking distance, and near a main road for easy access. The house is spacious with ample room in the living room, kitchen, dining room, and a nice sized back yard. There were spices and dishes in some of the kitchen cabinets, and a Keurig with a few K-cups were a nice treat... But there's much better options available in the area, so I recommend looking for other options if you're wanting to stay in this area.
The entire place needs painting and wall repair. The furniture in the living room smells. The couch should be replaced. There was one coffee pod when I checked in, I messaged the host and was told some would be brought by. No one showed up, so I bought coffee pods myself. The beds need to be replaced, they are uncomfortable. Can’t use the bathroom vent because it’s so noisy. I would not recommend booking this property.
Property met our needs. Just a few issues with cleaning that were conveyed to host so hopefully those will be addressed promptly. Location was convenient to son’s home, shopping and downtown Broken Arrow.
Lots of things that did not make it look 5 star. Pics in post. Towels in main bathroom smelled old. There was no body wash in either bathroom. The closet in main bedroom was full of stuff. Hard to hang my clothes in there. The mgmt was notified Thurs night when I got there that tv remotes were not working so I couldnt get tv to work. Didnt get working remote til Sunday morning. The door to garage was locked but not the way it should be. Just lots that I didnt think make this place a 4 star. Ill never stay here again. Ive stayed in much nicer.
The duplex was cute but not as clean as I was hoping for. Also, the pictures and description say it’s a private backyard but it’s a duplex and someone else lives in the other side and you share the backyard with them. It felt a little awkward being in someone else’s space because the entire yard is fenced in but half of it belongs to the people who live on the other side. The neighborhood is quiet and seems safe and the location is nice.
Overall a nice stay in a quiet neighborhood. Was perfect for my husband and I. 35 min drive to castle of muskogee for the Renaissance festival. It is a duplex with a shared backyard, so we had to make sure the neighbor's dog wasn’t outside when we sat on the patio with our dog, but not a huge deal. Our only complaints were that the beds were not comfortable(particularly the back bedroom...in my opinion that bed is unsleepable. But the other one is okay!) and the shower takes some adjusting to get the heat level just right. But overall, it worked for our needs. Plenty of books, board games, and tv channels were provided for downtime. We were able to have food delivered easily and quickly. 4 out 5 overall.
The dryer didn’t work and we called the property manager, we were told that they would send maintenance to check it out but we never did have anybody come look at it.

Poorly Maintained, Dirty House NOT WORTHY OF VRBO!!!
Owner FALSELY claims "5 star" unit & service! Advertisement pictures do not match actual conditions of house! House badly in disrepair.PROS: Great bed in bedroom #1, refrigerator large & clean; nice Keurig coffee maker & K-cups; good streaming TV channels (no Cable); quiet unit; clean bathrooms.CONS: Carpets badly stained & dirty; floor/bath rugs dirty;; recliner stained & dirty; kitchen tile table filled with dirt/dried food; dirty microwave; window sills full of dead bugs; bath #1 shower not operational, bath countertop & toilet paper holder rusted; bath #2 fan not operational; unfilled holes in all walls; wall baseboards broken & unattached; all countertops badly painted homemade wood; no cable TV; some windows failed & leaking; furniture shown in photo not in unit. UNIT SHOULD NOT BE LISTED WITH VRBO!

Disappointed travelers
When we arrived at the property we had not received the code. We had to contact them. They said there was a system issue. I was on the phone with the property manager while unlocking the door and let him know the house smelled of smoke. After several texts and me telling him we had allergies they brought some fabreeze and glade plug ins. The pull out sleeper sofa had a sign saying temporarly out of service. We could never find the TV remote ( not big tv watchers so not a huge deal). I did not connact the manager about the bed or remote since he sent me so many texts and was slightly rude when i complained about the smoke smell.
the house was clean but the beds were very uncomfortable
the property manager was very nice and very helpful the main issue was the beds. We had 4 people in the home but only 2 coffee cups were provided, no a big issue we went and bought new cups
