Amazingly Nice

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large and had two sitting areas. Bathroom had a nightlight which was a thoughtful feature. Room service food was quick, reasonably priced and very good. Breakfast buffet was good. Housekeeping staff were very thorough each day.

The property is awesome, in a great location, always clean, great staff and security, nice quiet rooms, updated rooms and bath, with a perfect bed. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is because of the breakfast. Breakfast is to start at 6a, but when we arrived today between 6a-6:30, the food was still being set up for the buffet. Not even half the food, so the choices were slim as we couldn't wait. The drinks, water or juice were not available, the juice still had to be made, so that delayed being able to start eating. I love staying at the Samarons, but it's always the breakfast that holds it back.

This hotel is a nightmare. My belongings were stolen, including my phone and cash. The people at the reception didn’t care at all. I felt trapped and terrified. I had to beg to use a phone just to contact my family for help to leave. Never stay here — it’s unsafe and dishonest.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been in my life. I booked for 6 nights and couldn’t stay there because of I found hairs all over from bathroom tub to bed. Also smoke everywhere omg the lobby was full of smoke too this was insane. After talking to the frontal desk they agreed to refund my unused 5 nights and Omar promised to process refund with Expedia. Lies lies they refused to give my money back and until now. The hotel claims to be a 5 stars and once you get there you’ll see that their stars was taken away. The booked a suite and was given suite 305 the bedsheet feel itchy because I got there at 7pm couldn’t leave the same day. I ended up finding another hotel and left first thing in the morning. The hotel did not honor their promise to refund the remaining 5 nights. BECAREFUL PURE SCAM.

Das ist kein Hotel, sondern eine Discothek - von 23 Uhr bis Nachts 3 Uhr hört man überall im Hotel die laute Musik aus dem 5. Stockwerk (wo sich eine Nachtbar befindet). Es ist unwichtig ob Gäste sich gestört fühlen oder erst ab Nachts 3 Uhr einschlafen können! Dieses Hotel würde ich niemanden empfehlen!

Grandi difficoltà per trovarlo in quanto, anche con l'indirizzo preciso della prenotazione, tassisti esperti hanno avuto difficoltà. Acqua calda e TV non funzionante, ma riparati subito. Colazione inesistente ed obbligatoriamente in camera. Struttura buona ma deve migliorare.

Bon hôtel mais pas un 5 étoiles

L’hotel est pas mal’du tout , le service est au top, le personnel est hyper sympa et reactif. Le prix de là nuitée est quand même hyper interessant et compétitif .L’emplacement est aussi top. Les chambres sont propre spacieuse et propre, bien décorées. Cependant, à noter quelques défauts: le mobilier a besoin d’être rafraîchit, des soucis aussi avec l’eau chaude.

We were stranded in Tunis!! :(

Me and my husband booked two nights with this hotel. Due to our flight being late we could not book into the hotel on time on the first day. We tried to call the hotel but no answer, we also tried to call hotels.com but as a British number kept taking our credit. We got to the hotel after an awful travel experience to find that the bed we should have been sleeping in at that very moment was booked for someone else and there were no more rooms for us. Because we didn’t check in on the first day our entire stay was cancelled by the hotel and we were not allowed a refund either. At that moment we were exhausted and furious because we couldn’t have a refund for a hotel stay that we didn’t even have, we were more concerned that it was 12pm at night and there were no hotels that we could check into. We were stranded in Tunis with no place to stay and both me and my husband were ill too. We ended up staying in a disgusting hostel just so we could be behind a locked door in the middle of the night. The stress that this hotel put us through is unbelievable especially after an awful journey to find that we couldn’t even stay there and the panic of thinking we would have to sleep on the street. This hotel is supposed to be one of the best in Tunis but far from it. They had no compassion and didn’t even have water to give us. We understand of course that there are policies in place for late check in but what could we have done? So disappointed, :( :(.

the hotel is good, rooms are clean and spacious , service is good. the downside is that the air condition is not working the room is hot, i told the reception about this issue but they didn't solve the problem and ignored me.

Not for holidays.....

I arrived quite late having been ripped off by taxi driver from airport. Do not pay more than 10 in local currency ! Staff were pleasant and let me buy a bottle of wine for room as bar closed due to Ramadan. For same reason a free meal was unexpectadly delivered to room at about 10pm ! Couldnt get tv to work despite maintenance chap attending. No hot water for shower either.

Séjour agréable au Samarons.

L'hôtel est bien. Un peu loin des centres d'intérêt de la ville. Aux alentours, aucun restaurant (à part ceux de l'hôtel) ou boutique ne vendent d'alcool. Le déjeuner était moyen, avec peu de choix. Le personnel était fort sympathique.
