This house offers:
3 bedrooms (2x queen and 2x singles + toddler bed) portacot plus air mattresses and a foam mattress
Open plan lounge and dining. A fire place keeps the house cosy and warm in the winter, along with 3 oil fin heaters. The kitchen is fully equipped (no need to supply your own dishcloth/tea towels) Washing machine and soap powder available.

All linen is provided: Sheets, pillows, pillowcases, duvets & blankets. Although there are no electric blankets on the beds, hot water bottles and extra blankets are provided.

Girls Trip

Loved this house, so clean and comfortable, a real home away from home, perfect for a girl's weekend but equally set up for families and little ones, 2min drive from Turangi town.. just a sweet lil spot that we would be happy to return to.. highly recommend!

Great location

Super convenient location for exploring Lake Taupo and hiking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. No a/c, but we made it work by opening some windows at night when it cooled off.

Wonderful home in Turangi

We stayed 4 nights at this lovely home on a large lot, very quiet street, in Turangi. Everything we needed was there. Beds very comfortable and great quiet sleeping.Location was good jumping off point for visiting National Park, and Taupo. Thank you for providing a wonderful home away from home for us.

Perfect Base for Our Adventures

Our group of four had a fantastic stay at Tracy and Steve's well-equipped property. The house had everything we needed - fully stocked kitchen, all linen provided, and a cozy fireplace that kept us warm. Perfect location for walking to town and driving to local attractions like the Tongariro River and Tokaanu Hot Pools.The road noise from Highway 1 was minimal and didn't affect our stay. Excellent value for money and ideal for families or small groups exploring the region. Would definitely book again!

Turangi Stopover

This was close to the main road yet still quiet. Everything we needed was available and the bed was very comfortable. We had been looking forward to relaxing outdoors but the weather was unseasonably cold. Fortunately there was a heater which quickly warmed the room. Would stay here again as it is so convenient.

Cosy and well equipped

The Bach was cosy with everything we needed. Loved the wood burner. 40 mins drive to the mountain, less than 10 mins to the thermal pools. We found the neighbourhood was mostly quiet (some noise on one night of our stay) and the road noise (as was described in the listing) did not bother us.

Beautiful clean cozy

Excellent cozy holiday house. Very clean with all things present that were needed for an accomodation house. Comfortable beds with loads of warm duvets and spare blankets for the cold location mid winter. Extremely effective fireplace with exceptional firewood making warming the house very easy. Both my 9year old daughter and I very much enjoyed the brilliant range of kids books. Thanks loads Tracey and Steve. Was great getaway retreat to base from. Highly recommended. Close to tbe main road for some truck noise but was absolutely minor far outweighed by the ease and comfort of the house. 5/5 all round.

Supercars weekend.

Very nice and clean. Very helpfull host when we accidentaly locked our selves out. Really comfy beds. Great fire. Only regret that the Tv / Wifi would not link with our phone even using correct cable. Will certainly stay here again .

For the two of us it was just right. Lovely to sit out on the rear decking to eat “al fresco” in the evening. Quiet neighbourhood. Beautiful starscape at night, milky way etc. Only a 10 minute stroll to the supermarket and the Tuarangi white water rafting centre.

Cheerful decor .Comfortable house. We could have walked to a decent restaurant a few hundred metres away. Nice deck. Short drive to shops. A little highway noise but I still slept well.

Property was clean and somewhat dated but had everything we needed. Problem with hot water was fixed promptly by the host. No central heating but space heaters were provided. Good response time from host for any of our questions. Property advertised a hot tub but we could not find it. Overall a good stay.

Home away from home

The property was clean, tidy and comfortable. The booking arrangements were easy to make with no stress. As mentioned the property is by the main highway, so there is truck noise throughout the night. But didn't notice it after the first night.

Cozy house in neighborhood

We stayed for 2 nights before and after the Alpine crossing. Lovely home in quiet neighborhood. Plenty of living space. Slightly cluttered with no space in closets to hang clothes. Low pressure shower water and tub faucet leaky. No outlets in the bathroom. Updated kichen with plenty of space. Nice to have washer. Great local eateries all around.
