Was touched by Suteja and his family’s warm hospitality. Always there when we need help and recommends places for us to visit. Room was definitely value-for-money, well-maintained and clean. Highly recommended to stay here if you want to have an authentic homestay experience. Place was convenient to visit all the nearby attractions like Ubud palace and art market and has plenty of dining options. Definitely not a place to miss when you’re in Ubud.

Great place and amazing family, beautiful room. but had constructions the and the room is not isolated so noise of the children, animals and construction was hard to take. But still good value for money

Ubud

The family is super friendly. They arranged laundry service and a scooter rental for me. They leave hot water in a thermos with coffee and tea by your door every morning. The breakfast included fresh juice. I kept extending my stay because I was so comfortable. And it’s right in the center of everything. Walking distance to the monkey forest. Next time I’m in Ubud I hope they will have a room for me!!!

Beautiful homestay in the heart of Ubud

We really enjoyed our time in Jangkrik homestay. It is located south of Ubuds main spots and many highlights like the monkey forest are nearby. The homestay lies in a beautiful and quiet backyard with lots of plants, statues and small ponds. the family that runs jangkrik homestay is very friendly and charming. They could give us lots of tips around ubud and were always open for a chat. Every morning we could choose our breakfast from a menu with many different options, a small fruit salad or fruit juice and coffee or tea added and it was always delicious and beautiful. The room was clean and appointed with an AC and a van. So all these surroundings and especially the lovely family made our stay in Bali unforgettable.

Nettes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal, 10 min fußläufig vom Monkey Forest, sowie dem Ubud Market. Die Zimmer sind sehr spartanisch eingerichtet, uns hat es jedoch für unseren 4 tägigen Aufenthalt gereicht. Das Zimmer war oberflächlich sauber. Richtig toll war die Familie die den Homestay führt! Super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Eine klare Weiterempfehlung für low-budget-Reisende!

This homestay is exceptional! The entire family who run this place is the sweetest family ever! Breakfast was amazing and the family can even help you with hiring drivers for day trips! Over all the rooms were super clean, had hot water, and AC (If you needed it, we didn't the ceiling was more than enough at night!). 10/10 would recommend this homestay & would 100% stay there again!

Perfect homestay in the heart of Ubud

I had a wonderful stay at Jangkrik. From the moment I checked in, the family were super friendly and welcoming without being overwhelming. They helped organise my scooter rental and a sunrise trek at rates that were far better than the other operators around town. The house itself is set back from the main road so it is nice and quiet at night, but it is great to be able to walk out onto the Main Street and be on top of some great cafes and restaurants. It is also only a 5-10 min walk to the Yoga Barn. My room was fabulous, big and super comfortable with a fan and aircon, and a cute balcony to sit and have coffee breakfast that was cooked to order every morning. I am so glad I found Jangkrik for my stay in Ubud, I will be going back! I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Nice Homestay

Enjoyed my time there but not good for solo travellers as you don't really meet anyone else there. Mostly couples. Room and bathroom simple but very clean. Some people commented on the sheets being damp etc but that's something you can't avoid in this humidity! AC not the best in my room but combination of fan and air conditioning was good. Family nice and they organised a trip to Gili T for me for a very good price. Yes, dogs bark and sometimes there is work going on next door so if you're a light sleeper that could be tricky. My room as in the courtyard and I could hear the fountain splashing. Doesn't bother me but if you have a weak bladder or light sleep, maybe not so good.. Overall fine though.

家族で経営しているところで、着くとすぐにウェルカムドリンクを持ってきてくれました。どの人も笑顔で対応もよかったです。シャワーが途中で出なくなりましたが、すぐに対応してくれました。２人部屋で泊まりましたが、タオルが一枚しかなかったので余分に持っていったほうがいいです。家族の優しさに溢れたとこでした。

+ really close to central, big supermarket, pharmacy and restaurants near + extremely kind, helpful and welcoming staff + reasonable price for the area + you feel safe in the room and leaving your belongings in the room + no cockroaches + rooms felt like they were kept maintained + wifi was fuctioning acceptably + superb airconditioning - many dogs living at the hotel (can be intimidating if you are not a dog person) - no soap in the room - electricity and water cut off few times (only for 10-20minutes luckily)

Everything was well except for some tidiness issues when it comes to cleaning up bedding, blankets which the cleaner lady failed to do on the first day & the owners need to know about this. The blanket covers , blankets & bed was not done till I asked them to do for me after checking in They are all a lovely bunch of people otherwise Also a bell for room service or any other enquiry is important, inconvenient to go downstairs if you are on the top floor & would save us energy & will help retain their privacy. I would definitely suggest this tranquil place to my friends .
