The staff were so friendly and helpful. Location was good, not as close to the markets as some shopoholics may like, but short walk to Monkey Forest and plenty of good restaurants, pharmacy and convenience stores close by. Clean and quiet, bed very comfortable and plenty of hot water. Would definitely stay again

The room was huge, too big for just me, but that’s a positive I suppose. The tv was just local airwave stations and too fuzzy to watch even if I understood Indonesian. The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. No complaints really.

Wonderful staff! Very helpful and polite

Staff made the stay tolerable but rooms were pretty bad, not very clean, dirt on the bed, no shower curtain, tub was filthy. Pool was amazing! Very beautiful resort. Staff at front desk was impeccable and would never blame them for the state of rooms.

This hotel is very nicely situated close to yoga

Location is good , far away from the road , so u have no noise ... this hotel is great if u are looking for a simple room , not a romantic getaway ) it's old and looks a bit sad due to no investment or updating , it could be great if someone put some love into it ! Hotel stuff was nice and pleasant !

Bra hotell mitt i Ubud

Hotellet är oerhört prisvärt med stora rum, sval stor terass, bra pool och nära riktigt bra resturanger. Underbar trädgård och bra frukost. Wifi fungerar men är svagt. Dock är det likadant för de flesta hotellen i Ubud. Skaffa sim-kort i stället. Passar utmärkt att stanna länge.

Great position for Yoga Barn and shops

Very special old hotel with beautiful helpful staff. Some aspects little run down but upgrades are happening. Phones were installed during my stay. Exquisite gardens. My rating would have been higher except that for some the bathrooms would be a problem. Just old.

Nice hotel, close to yoga barn

This hotel was the perfect place for my yoga/meditation week. It was close to the yoga barn and the hotel environment was very quiet and relaxing. The rooms were large and the patio was a nice treat. Having Made greet me every morning for breakfast at the hotel was my favourite experience. Such a kind man. Set the mood for the rest of my day!

the place os ok

The hotel is obviously old but eevrything is functioning. The people at the desk won't be speaking much English but it is a perfect location if you are going at yoga barn since it is just beside it.

Just OK. Choose another spot.

As other reviewers have noted, this place is OLD. It seems not to have been updated for decades. It's a beautiful place, to be sure, but it is in desperate need of a makeover. Bed was uncomfortable, the linens were worn, and the grounds are lovely but definitely need more attention. If I were you, I'd stay elsewhere.

The bed shows signs of bedbugs

Staff was nice however i did change rooms because my mattress did have black stops due to bedbugs and the sheets had blood stains on them from bedbugs. I also had to wait a few hours to leave because they could not find my booking on hotels. com and wanted me to pay in cash.... They told me i would be covered by hotles.com however after waiting 2 hrs they let me go.
