Uji is a great little town to pick up green tea, and the best green tea ice cream I've ever had. There is shop after shop of green tea, and apparently they are one of the biggest tea producers in Japan.

This was the best hotel I stayed in my entire three week trip to Japan. The onsen is wonderful, the late night ramen is delicious, the room is spacious and the vibe is immaculate. LOVED IT

Super convenient! The train station is on the lobby of the hotel. Awesome toiletries. You need to get the body loofah total life changer. Their breakfast buffet has a lot of option to chose from. Lastly the toilets are like no other specially in the US. Warm toilets seats are a game changer.
