A Great Stop for Weary Drivers.

This hotel was an easy-in/easy-out and had good parking. The beds were lovely after a long day of travel and the breakfast buffet was nicely done with a wide variety of foods.

Pleasant Stay

We came late at night and tired and the staff at the reception was really nice and accommodating. They had a promotion at the restaurant that the kids get free drinks, so we got some even though the restaurant was already closed. The room is clean and tidy. Comfortable beds as well. The only turn down was hand soaps, shower gels/shampoo and conditioner was not re-filled. It didn’t bother us much but this is maybe something the housekeeping should review in the future. The Hotel is quite old, but was kept clean by the staff. Location is also in an unexpected area but it doesn’t feel strange once you enter the Hotel.

Although the family hotel room is relatively small, it is ok to stay over. However, there was no proper air conditioner provided in the room. It was only a tower standing fan with a max volume of 3 speed. It was very hot and stuffy in the room for four of us during such a hot summer. Worst still, we were surprised to find out that there was not even a refrigerator in the room. We have young children who need milk to be stored in the fridge. The family room rate itself is not cheap vs other hotels. There’s a swimming pool in the hotel but it’s small and not pool friendly for young children. The receptionists including the cleaners are very friendly but the restaurant staffs should have a better working attitude with more smiles and greetings in the mornings. :)

Familjevänligt hotell lite utanför Umeå centrum. Bra frukost. Gratis parkering. En liten pool och flera aktiviteter som passar barn, b.l.a. Bordtennis. Trasiga lavar i bastun. Mycket god röding i restaurangen, finns även ett middagsalternativ om man inte vill ha något från den fasta menyn.
