Nice hotel in central Umeå

Check-in and check-out is easy to handle yourself. The hotel was very well located, right by the City Hall Park. Walking distance to everything central. The building was very beautiful and the interior dark but artistically fun. The room was nice and felt new, comfortable bed and good soundproofing. No coffee in the room or lotion but very nice breakfast, bar and restaurant area. They have parking to offer for a nice price.

Interesting decor.in this historic hotel. Reception was very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed an excellently prepared 3 course dinner with wine pairings in the restaurant. Breakfast offered many choices. Overall great experience.

Very good hotel.

Very good hotel and very good located för visit this part of the town. Very nice walk along the river and places to eat every where around the hotel. The decoration is nice but too dark.

Unique setting for a very interesting hotel. Great interior. Close to city services. Inside parking for additional fee. Breakfast buffee included but not the most versatile in the Nordics.

The Hotel was a bit gloomy due to the grey/dark Color/theme. The room was dusty. We had superior room. Could’t figure out what the superior part was; no fridge, bathroom was really small, no water boiling/ coffee making possibility in the room. The bed was super good.

Nice hotel in city centre

Lovely ambience, great room. Cool design. We had a nice view of park and river. Bed was comfortable. Only con is they had ambient lighting in the windows. Obviously thought out by som architect to make it look cool from outside, not thinking about people sleePing in room. We got some plates to cover them second night. Worked. But they really should install a switch so guests can turn off

Kul med sjörövarkoncept... men vissa brister: 1. Inget skohorn i rummet; 2. Upphängning för ytterkläder långt inne ui rummet. 3. Ingen vattenkokare (jag brukar dricka mitt morgonkaffe vid 05.15). 4. Receptionen kunde inte bistå med en kopp kaffe - hänvisade till kökspersonalen som nyss hade kommit - jag fick vänta till 06.30 när frukostbuffén öppnade. 5. Rumstermostaten fungerade inte. 6. Det gick inte att öppna fönster - olidligt varmt i rummet (jag hade dock inte för avsikt att begå självmord)
