"I made a reservation and paid in dollars. When I got to the hotel, they didn’t not find my details. It took about 20 minutes before they could find my booking information. I went out with my friend for dinner and returned to see that the hotel staff were looking for me. I was then told that they mistakenly billed me over N621,000 instead of N63,000 (Nigerian currency) (nearly 400 dollars). They now asked me to send them an email for a refund, I insisted it should be them sending me an apology...

In the end we agreed on being refunded the dfference and are waiting for the money from the booking platform. In 2023 such things should not happen. It meant additional effort for everyone. "

They show disdain towards Expedia reservations and when there’s a problem or issue to clarify or resolve they hesitate or bluntly refuse to contact Expedia and visit the consequences on the guest.
