"Well appointed property perfectly suited to our large family group. Charming host, tennis court, swimming pool, boules, pool table, etc provided activities for everyone. Property within easy reach of pretty Chateaudun with its chateau, supermarkets and canoe hire.More information about disposal of rubbish and a few extra towels would have been helpful. Expected camp cot was not there but host made provision at short notice. A very, very happy stay which everyone enjoyed."

"Overnight stop on the way home. Booked a cheap, basic, no frills accommodation and that is exactly what we got. Tiny room, very thin mattress. The auto’ check in system failed and we had to go away and come back 2 hours later when someone was available to help sort out the issue. "

Upon arrival, we were told that we were the only ones staying that night! This made it feel like a fairy tale - a chateau all to ourselves! The historical flavor of the property made us feel like we were back in the 17th century. We were served an excellent multi-course meal by Chef Carole, who not only prepped and prepared our meal, but personally served it to us. Upon our departure, we were offered a private tour of the Chateau by the owner. The owners, their new puppy, and sweet dog were lovely hosts. They provided a custom and unforgettable 24 hours.
