The bedroom was very large with lovely antique furniture, a comfortable bed and a nicely fitted out ensuite. We had access to the kitchen/ dining room and lounge rooms which were all well furnished and very comfortable and relaxing. Lovely garden to appreciate. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. The house is centered in town and an easy walk to the Main Street. "

"It was a great little getaway, and we could imagine in summer it would be even nicer being able to enjoy the outdoor picnic spots by the pond. We arrived late in the day and were quite peckish, so enjoying a beautiful fresh loaf of bread, butter and cheese that greeted us when we arrived was lovely - along with a bottle of wine for later and a ginger beer for our young one. Even though we came in winter, the West Coast scenery and atmosphere never disappoints, and the house was lovely and cosey all through the night. It was also great to feed Frank the eel each morning - we were sad to say bye to him too!"
