"Lovely hotel"

"I enjoyed my stay. The room was larger than expected and well appointed. The breakfast area was very good and it was possible to eat both in the restaurant or in the atrium. Food was very good, very well presented and plentiful. I used the bar and it was no over priced and comfortable. Tv was on for football but it was not intrusive. The hotel had a shuttle bus to the Fiera which was excellent. When I went into town then it meant buses and this was not a short journey. I had moved hotel because of extending my stay and a ten min walk into town was a contrast to the location of this hotel. Beware. The bus service was ok and the tourist info kiosk inside the hotel was able to sort and forewarn. Not sure if this was a permanent presence or just for the fiesta. Staff always there and friendly as well as effective/knowledgeable. Lifts! Seemed to take ages to ascend and return. Beware and don't be in a hurry. Building does look a little poor and dated from outside. I did wonder if I was going down market but the interior and staff made me forget my first impression. Same goes for bare concrete around stairwells. Odd. The area around the hotel was residential and safe. Bus stop about 600 metres away."

"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Murillo and would highly recommend it. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of all the main sites, which made exploring incredibly easy. The room was comfortable and very clean, a great place to come back to after a full day out. The staff really stood out—they were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. They even helped me print tickets that needed to be on paper, which I really appreciated. Overall, a fantastic stay in an unbeatable location. I would definitely stay here again."

"Here’s a few niggles that undermine the hotel… The room was never cleaned/attended over the three nights we stayed…we vacated the room approximately 10.30am’ish to 5.00pm’ish and left the correct sign ‘Please Clean the Room’ on the door but no luck despite seeing the staff/trollies everyday on our floor/near our room. Eventually we put our refuse in the corridor which was removed within minutes on the evening of day 2. Leaning against the headboard of the bed and the bed rolls off… often one wants to sit up in bed? Blackout drapes useless because the bathroom has a frosted glass door allowing the bathroom window’s light to bleed into the room at 5am…the door also offers little privacy - both my wife and I whilst grown ups, would rather keep some of our bathroom noises private - not possible!!! We booked a comfort room with a terrace but got a small balcony😟 Not that it mattered but at time of booking it mentioned Bath-tub but we had a shower. Always a nuisance when only one of the two room keys work… yes I know a simple fix but … One bathroom light out… not that I minded as I like low level light. So a mediocre rating…at best"

"Excellent! location is perfect for public transportation as the hotel is located right across the street from the metro (subway) line and the bus stations. Please note that this hotel itself is not close to where all the major attractions are so pick We booked the smallest the room. The room is on the small side but that is to be expected. The mattress and the bedding are all high quality. Staff is friendly, helped with the luggage store professionally."

"The breakfast menu was ok but limited to just continental. There isn't enough option. Should include fruits and a cooked breakfast for those who prefer it. Should also cater for dietary requirements such as alergies, celiac disease and diabetes. For example, I try to avoid a high carbohydrate diet because I am borderline diabetic, so I eat mostly fruits, eggs, bacon, fresh meat sausages, beans and vegetables but I felt like I wasn't given that choice. There's always room for improvement. "
