I came to Valdosta for 1night. This was our 1st time staying at the Mckey's. We stayed in the Grand Tour room. It was very spacious. The bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. I loved the tub with the shower. It tub was a little high too get in without hitting my toe to get in, but overall I liked it. It has a nice area to eat. They had a cofee station right outside our room in the hallway along with toiletries they you may have forget to pack. They also had a reaturant/ lounge down stairs if you wanted to crab something to eat or a drink. It also have restaurants near by. It can't get s little noisy with the cars and sirens passing by, other
than that it's a great place to stay.
Second time staying here. Fantastic place to stay. The “Law & Order” room is great - view of the courthouse - tall ceilings, comfortable bed and sofa. Coffee and filtered water station in the hall. Easy parking, great coffee shop on the first floor. Downtown has several great restaurants right outside the door. Check-in is a code to get in the building and then your room. Staff is available via phone and pick up immediately. Stay here rather than the interstate chains.
The room was spotless! Decorated beautifully. The very large windows are so nice. We stayed in the Law and Order room which was a corner room and it was perfect. The hosts are amazing and attentive.
Great room, friendly cafe downstairs. Parking was a bit of an issue but eventually found something out front. Nice amentias and quiet room. Good view of the capital across the street.
We stayed one night and found the room clean and spacious. I loved the charm of the old building, even though the walls were a bit thin. The sound machine worked wonderfully, and I slept without any issues. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

The romantic suite is a beautifully designed, well maintained vintage room. We met the hotel manager, who was exuberant and helpful. The view from the room over the quaint downtown was picturesque. Location was good for walking downtown.
I and another quest didn't realize the rooms were names and not numbers. Had to request entrance instructions. The bed was very comfortable and towels were top quality but the toilet paper was super thin... No place to hang clothes. Very irritated having cups, coffee and fridge in the hall... Not as quiet as typical hotel... Definitely not worth the money for a self service hotel...
Clean room and well restored. The hotel is old but has been renovated nicely. One issue is the noise from car/truck and trains. You may want to wear ear plugs to cut out the noise so you can sleep. Too bad, it really is a nice place.
Best Place to stay in Valdosta - drive a few minutes off the interstate and get a much better experience than the chains. Clean, Spacious, Safe, Easy Check-in/Check-out, easy parking, great coffee shop on the first floor and nice restaurants within a few blocks in the quaint and historic downtown - STAY HERE!!
We are in a beautiful old building that had been totally renovated. Access in was clearly explained as well as parking and unit access. We are very pleased with our selection. We have had very good communication with our host
Beautiful place with a charming historic feel. You get a key code emailed to you for entry so it’s very private and simple to check in.
It is a wonderful place overall with a coffee shop downstairs that is also wonderful! Güd Coffee!
The only downside was the noise of being in the heart of downtown. You could hear everything on the street and vehicles going by all night. I’m a light sleeper so maybe others wouldn’t mind as much. They do have ear plugs complimentary!! :) definitely a place you should check out!
The area suggested to park had people that approached me 3 times asking for money. The directions given didn't explain where the room was. Being downtown, police sirens and trains kept me up most of the night. The positive is being downtown and walking to restaurants and the room was immaculate.
I was super excited about staying someplace different from a regular hotel, and it was beautiful. Not having the checkin info sent to us prior to our arrival was so disappointing as we arrived late after an extremely long day of travel and activities. It was so frustrating after a great day.
