We loved this place. The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. The lodging's on a lovely street with easy access to a host of beautiful shops and local sites of interest, it has clean comfortable rooms, great breakfasts and good coffee -- and an amazing garden with a small pool in the back that truly is remarkable to escape to. One of our favorite places on our 28-day trip.

Located on a lovely quiet street, but within easy walking distance to the centre. Staff were lovely and even accommodated an excellent rushed breakfast for us one morning before catching our tour. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Verde Morada was an exceptional place to stay in Valladolid. It was so peaceful that I often forgot I was in the city. The room was stunning, had more than enough amenities and did not leave us wanting. Access to the garden and pool was an added benefit, allowing us to relax, eat, drink, swim and even bird watch in a tranquil setting. The hotel is located on Calzada de los Frailes, which made dining out, shopping, walking and meeting with friends and locals so easy. The hotel staff was kind, thoughtful and very helpful whenever we asked questions, I am so grateful for them! If you are thinking of staying here, do it! It's a unique, beautiful and very special place in Valladolid.

We arrived before check in. We left our luggage and waited to come back until the assigned hour. They showed us to the room and gave us a bottle of wine which was a nice surprise. We were taking a nap and the staff woke us up, told us we were in the wrong room and asked us to gather our things and move upstairs. They took back the bottle of wine they gave us and said it was a mistake. The hotel is pretty but the experience after check in was unpleasant.

The property is beautiful and the service was amazing. The front desk girls were so nice and the server at the breakfast terrace as well. The rooms need a little bit of maintenance a bit of water leaking on the window, the lighting in the bathroom also need some fix and the ceiling had some water marks , but nothing that cannot be fix. Overall the place is very well located on beautiful street very quiet and safe. Breakfast was good. Plenty of parking on the back entrance.

This was a gem of our road trip through the Yucatan. We loved our stay here. Parking was connected to the property in a quiet lot. The street was great for shopping and restaurants located right by the hotel. The staff was very friendly and room had a great view of the street. The courtyard was so peaceful, shaded, and relaxing. They also served an amazing breakfast right in the courtyard.

Street where the hotel is one of the nicest in the center of Valladolid, great location - quiet, plenty of restaurants and other shops, partially closed to traffic in the evenings. Garden was peaceful with the occasional waft of fragrance from the perfumery next door. Breakfast served in the garden was excellent - and service from Daniel was great. I think there are only 3 rooms so guests get friendly, personal service from all of the staff.

Wonderful experience, small boutique hotel with beautiful gardens and off-street private parking in the back. If you're looking for major hotel chain offerings like room service and television - then this isn't for you. If you want charm, character and a small, private building with an absolutely charming garden to drink your morning coffee and breakfast , then you will love this place. We stayed in Valladolid for three nights, and used the city as a jumping-off point for visits to Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, surrounding cenotes, and a few other points of interest. Verde Morada Hotel Encuentro was a great hotel! The room was comfortable, it was in a safe neighborhood within easy walking distance of the city center and many restaurants/shops, and the secure on-site parking was a bonus. A particularly nice feature was the generous breakfast they offer as a part of your stay there. With an ideal location and such friendly staff, you can't go wrong with this hotel!

Our stay in this property was magnificent. Our room was small but very quaint and impeccably clean. The grounds were gorgeously manicured and breakfast exceeded expectations. The property is also located on a lovely street across from a delicious empanada restaurant, boutiques and a perfumery. Everyone we encountered was friendly. We plan to travel to Valladolid again and stay at this hotel. I don’t have a single negative thing to say. Everything was amazing.
