"I stayed at the Walnut Creek Marriott for two nights and barely slept at all. The walls are unbelievably thin. You can hear everything. Normal conversation from the room next door sounded like it was happening inside our room.
Unfortunately, our neighbors were loud, intoxicated, and awake most of the night. We could hear them talking continuously, opening food, playing music, and generally carrying on well into the early morning hours. Even after they finally fell asleep, they left music playing all night. This wasn’t just a noise issue with other guests, it felt like the hotel has no soundproofing whatsoever.
A hotel stay should at least allow for rest, and that simply wasn’t possible here. If you’re a light sleeper or value a quiet room, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere. I won’t be returning and would not recommend this hotel to anyone hoping to get a good night’s sleep.
