Great stay at nominal price. Floors throughout the hotel are made of some sort of smooth rocks like marble or granite. When it is covered with dust, it becomes quite slippery.

Inefficient room service

The hotel room was good however the room service was poorly managed as either they managed to provide ordered items to incorrect rooms or they missed the service until we reminded them. Internet connection was really bad. They provided coffee two times that were spoiled without checking.

Wouldn't call it a diamond

The hotel is very overpriced, I would say two to three times what it should be for what one gets, but this seems to be typical for Varanasi these days, unfortunately. The wifi did not function at all, except for in the lobby. Actually, the fact that it did work fine in the lobby shows that their failure to have it work upstairs (They just ignored repeated requests to fix it) can only be due to incompetence, laziness, or some other moral failing. Breakfast was mediocre, and though they have a Cafe Coffee Day machine for making real coffee, they charge extra for that, which is so petty considering the exorbitant price of the hotel.

Staff is nice and courteous. Rooms were clean and updated. No issues during the stay. Housekeeping had to be called but I guess it’s primarily to allow for privacy/ security. Breakfast was good and the ability to order from kitchen was an awesome.

Second time not so lucky..

This is the second time I am staying in this hotel. The first time had a great experience but not so this time. Breakfast as usual was good. Service as usual good. The room allotted was next to the road and hence road noise percolated into the room till 10:30pm. Morning as usual was noisy. A great disappointment was TV. I could watch only free sports channels which meant was not able to watch India vs Australia test match. With a 3 star rating you expect at least this much to be done.

Hotel was good. However, TV could not be watched as new service provider was introduced at the hotel but set up was not good. Besides this rate given to me by Expedia and rate charged by hotel did not match. Hotel charged me more. I had to pay Rs. 4000 more. I will lodge an official complain about this.

Diamond hotel Bhelupur Varanasi

Hotel is decent and the rooms are well maintained and taken care of. The Wi-Fi did work at all and inspite of repeated feedback to rectify it, the hotel staff were not able to attend to it. In today's world this is a major negative for the hotel. Rest of the hotel is fine.

Staying at Diamond hotel, is always amazing. The staff is very helpful and hospitality is at par with 5-star hotels. The food is excellent and never gave me or my family any issues. The rooms are always clean and have no issues

Ok rooms poor wifi but good location

Hotel was nice but the staff was not well trained. Breakfast was very simple and just ok. Wifi was horrible - it was slow and was not working for 2 days. Even after complaining it was not addressed. Good point is the location which is next to the mall. The rooms are clean but tad old looking.

No peace and quite at all

The hotel presents well and check in was fine, except we were given 2 singles rather than than the king advertised.Problem was rectified within 15 mins.The noise of 1, the street, 2 being woken at 5am and 6 am by call to prayer (if we had known a mosque was so close we would not have booked here)3 By far the worst was the rude person in a close room who contiually walked the corridor in the early morning talking on his phone. The breakfast menu had no food suitable for western taste bar a bit of fruit some cornflakes and eggs. They do not serve any alcohol at all.We were the only Caucasians inthe hotel during our stay. Would not recommend.

Needs fixes/attention by management

Renovated rooms are good and rooms are spacious.... Front desk crowded most of time with single person attending to customers; Room not cleaned/serviced every day; Safe deposit locker did not work and the one who could fix never came in 2 days; restaurent service takes time if there are more than 4 out of 10-15 tables occuped; cannot set temperature in room even though AC works, blanket for twin size bed small where imagine cold room with not fully covered body due to not decent size blanket...

Good Hotel for stay

Booked the hotel after looking at the reviews. Stayed for 5 nights. Good points : Close to the gullies of Varanasi but on a main road. Service is excellent but the people are very tight-lipped (as Wodehouse would have said "Stiff upper lip"). However one of the best stays and I enjoyed every bit of it. Negative point : But being in the main road has its own disadvantages of noise pollution. Suggestion: Probably a room at the back of the Hotel would be good. No complaints on stay.

Confortable hotel close to places of interest

The hotel is close to the river, you can walk to places of interest. Breakfast was very good, and staff is nice and try to help. Our room was big and confortable with air conditioner..
