"First off you need to be an adventurous traveler. You must have an SUV or 4x4 or you will never get there. You will find yourself in a remote area in the beautiful Alps of Albania. The visual experience is spectacular. This is a great experience that only a few will appreciate. Once you finally arrive the family is extremely gracias and they make sure you are well fed...breakfast, lunch and dinner! This is included. If you like to hike or just sit outside and enjoy the magnificent beauty of the Albanian Alps you will have an amazing experience and a great memory. Please do not expect anything fancy! This family is humble and gives their guests everything they have. Everything they offer you to eat is produced by their own hands. If you truly want to get back to basics and to experience living off the land this one's for you! I will always treasure the hospitality we received from our gracias hosts."

"I stayed 1 night and it was most comfortable. The amenities were all I needed. The hotel and room were exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and made me feel cared for. The area around was lively and safe. (Female solo traveller). The hotel bar was very reasonably priced. Get the breakfast. It was large and filling for 7€. I did have some issues locating the hotel on Google Maps. It wanted to send me around the corner. It is directly across from Irish Monkey Pub. I would highly recommend. I only wish I had stayed 2 nights!"

"Nice hotel, but with room for improvement. The hotel itself is nice, clean and mostly renovated. The facilities are good and the nearby water park is a great bonus, especially for families. However, Albania is still a country in development, which becomes very noticeable once you leave the resort. The hotel area is clean, but outside there is rubbish almost everywhere, including along the seaside promenade. Breakfast offers a good variety and the fact that it is similar every day was not a major issue. The selection of cheeses is excellent, but unfortunately they are not refreshed regularly, so they are often dry and not very appetizing. The hotel beach is okay and, compared with other beaches nearby, actually looks very clean. Still, it could benefit from more frequent cleaning, as cigarette butts can easily be easily found. Staff were mixed. In the Taverna, service was often not very friendly and staff did not always seem focused on customers. Housekeeping was also inconsistent. We had to ask three times to have our room cleaned, despite leaving the cleaning sign on the door from the morning. Overall, a nice hotel with good facilities and a decent beach, but service, housekeeping and some food-quality details could definitely be improved."
