Small lovely hotel near St Mark plaza and major tourist attractions. Hotel breakfast slightly limited spread but good option for 2 night in Venice. Helpful staff and overall great location to stay in during our Venice trip for the price.

The room are clean. Staff, from front desk to room service are excellent and attentive to our need and very helpful. The hotel gives you a sense of nostalgia, and yet the bathroom are updated with towel rack dryer. The best part, it is 5 minutes from St. MARK Plaza, St. Mark Basillica, Doge Palace, and the water taxi, gondola dock. Center to everything, food and shopping.

This was the 4 or 5th time we have stayed here and no issue getting to it. Close to all attractions with great staff we have known over the years. We thank all the front staff, breakfast and cleaning staff for taking care of our needs. See you need time for sure.

Perfect location. Walkable to the ferry and main attractions. The room itself was difficult to temperature control. You couldn't really leave the windows open due to noise, cigarette smoke, bugs, and birds. Staff were friendly.

Everything was perfect, from our early arrival with the staff doing their most to still give us a room, the clean room, the quick and nice service for breakfast, and the great localisation. Only thing about the room, the walls are maybe a little thin because it can be noisy. We enjoyed our stay here a lot, thank you very much !

Great hotel and location

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The location is fantastic- only a minute from St Mark’s Square. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and the hotel was really clean. The air conditioning in the rooms worked well and there was lots of choice for breakfast.

The staff here where very friendly and always welcoming and they seemed to warm you about events going on around your hotel which was very helpful. The breakfast was a lot better than I expected and the waitress we had during our stay for the breakfast was amazing!

Great location!

This hotel was perfect for our visit to Venice. The location was steps away from St Marks Square and the Vaporetto. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was a good way to start the day. The rooms have a traditional decor, but the beds were comfortable and it was roomy enough for two.

I would definitely stay here again. Staff was friendly, free breakfast, and very close to the main attractions. The only con was they don't have irons for your clothes, which they should.

I was very lucky to find this hotel.The welcome and assistance of the reception,the layout and adequate size of the room,the richness of the breakfast were very. Extraordinary.Plus thelocation was just only 100 meters from St Mark’s square..Don’t hesitate,definitly go to Commercio.

Great location, old but well maintained building and staff was really helpful, however, until June the city doesn’t allow AC and there is nothing about that policy posted on Expedia. It was really hot and the location of the hotel makes the air circulation “zero”. Opening the windows was the only reason and is really noisy because its location. On top of that a lot of mosquitos so be prepared!

We stayed in the apartment, which was not very hotel-like. It felt like an Airbnb, quite sparingly furnished, cold tile floors, and as far as we could tell, no housekeeping? There is a kitchen with many of the things you need, but no ice cube trays and while there is a coffee pot, no coffee provided in the room. Up two flights of stairs. We prefer to book hotels because Airbnbs can be so uncomfortable, and this was basically just an Airbnb operated by a hotel. The bed was not very comfortable and the bedding was not soft. There’s a TV but it’s not a smart TV so unless you want to watch local cable television it’s not super useful.

This is a small Boutique Hotel in a great location. We had room 101 with windows on the alley, Calle de La Rasse. We checked in Friday 8 pm and out Sunday 630am. Alley was a little noisy. Hotel directly across alley doing extensive construction so beware of weekday noise. No 110 ac or USB charging ports in the room. Shower extremely tiny, so beware big people. Entered the hotel after a long travel day with delays and had a bit of trouble entering the small vestibule with small width double doors. As we entered there were two staff members snickering at the adjacent front desk, felt it was do to our entrance. Rather than offering help to hold the doors open they had a good laugh on us and we weren't that bad! The continental breakfast included was nice, good coffee and typical pastries, cereal and cold cuts. Had a small room safe that the room key didn't match, not electronic. 5 minute walk to the Alilaguna ferry. Overall we were happy with the hotel. Lastly, we felt very safe in Venice!
