Located on the two last floors of an eighteen century Palace with extraordinary views especially from its terrace overlooking the rooftops of the city, the Grand Canal and La Salute

This lightfull apartment of more than 4.500 sqft, with elevator access, is located at the two last floors of the palace and offers no less than 3 living-rooms, including a music room upstairs of around 1.000 sqft, a dining-room for up to 10 guests, a huge fully equiped kitchen, five bedrooms (3 doubles, 1 twin and 1 single) as well as 3 bathrooms.

This place is a perfect location for family groups who want to experience an unforgettable stay in Venice.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Grand Canal Terrace. Checking in and out was made very easy by the helpful instructions of the owner, as well as the property manager, Roberto. The views from the property are amazing, and its location is perfect for visiting the main sites in Venice. I would definitely stay again when visiting Venice!

What an amazing apartment. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. Roberto was there to greet us and he gave us some recommendations for dinners. He even made our reservations for the first night. Highly recommend

Absolutely fabulous stay in a fantastic location in Venice

We LOVED our stay at Grand Canal Terrace. We only stayed for two nights but afterwards wished we had stayed longer. The location can't be beat. It's steps away from the Sant'Angelo ferry stop on the Grand Canal. The view from some of the bedrooms and the rooftop terrace is phenomenal. The space is huge and was perfect for our big family group. It's a historic building but there is a lift to get you up to the top floor where the apartment is. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful Stay

The apartment was great for our family of 6. Plenty of space, comfortable, and a great Venetian vibe. The rooftop terrace was breathtaking. If I had one complaint, it would be that 2 of the bath/shower combos had handheld showers instead of being mounted. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

Great Location & Space

The location was unbeatable! Easy walk (with no stairs or bridges) from a taxi/bus drop off dock and a 10 min walk to San Marco square. Only 5 min walk from the closest grocery store and main streets and just far away enough to be quiet. The place has a small elevator, which was a life savor with luggage. There’s so much space so we didn’t feel on top of each other. Only downside was the water tank, which we were told about upon arrival, but there was a piece missing or broken and the tank had to be reset every 1-3 shower uses. This became tedious with 7 people needing showers over a 5 day stay. The site manager, Roberto, is very helpful and quick to communicate. Overall, it was a great stay.

Exceptional Property

This home was an amazing place to stay that added to our experience of Venice. It accommodated our party of 7 adults beautifully. It is in a perfect location. Very easy to get to and then make our way around this wonderful city. The view from the rooftop terrace is spectacular. Roberto was incredibly helpful and readily available to help us. Would definitely stay here again and again.

Smart Choice

Very conveniently located - be sure to take the municipal ferry AND NOT A PRIVATE TAXI to get there because the private taxi will just dump.you by the doge's palace. The kitchen is top notch and well equipped. The rooms are comfortable and there is a wealth of books and entertainment. The roof top.deck is a nice.plus too.

Fabulous palazzo in fantastic location in Venice!

Palazzo even better than the pictures! Great communication with Lydia and Roberto. Very much appreciated Roberto meeting our party at the vaporetto stop and giving us tour of property. Thank goodness for the good air-conditioning during this terrible heatwave in July 2023.

Lovely Place to Stay in Venice

We were thrilled to have an elevator! The property manager was super helpful. Location was perfecto! The bathroom situation was a bit of a struggle for us with 7 people, but we managed okay. Getting up to the top floor would be tough for older folks. Most of our group was in their 60's and all the way up to an 84 year old (def needed the elevator).

Prime location, beautifully appointed ample apartment home

Very central location, steps away from vaporetto stop which cover main Line 1 and Alilaguna boat to Marco Polo airport..ample space fully enjoyed bybour party of 9. Easy to get in touch with property manager who walked us through property and respond promptly to request. A/C of 2 rooms was not cooling but plenty of room in last floor and living area we used instead to sleep. Great kitchen area, comfy rooms. Awesome Grand Canal view. Really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment home in beautiful Venice!!

Sweet Venice Abode

This place was awesome. Right off the grand canal with a rooftop terrace. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to spread out. We pretty much walked the entire city in 2 days, with a lot of walking. The water taxi station is just outside the door, if you prefer that method of travel. We took a water taxi directly from the airport to the apartment. The rooftop furniture could probably use replacing, but the views were gorgeous, especially with drinks. I would highly recommend this apartment.

An amazing palace in the heart of Venice

We stayed for 2 nights with my family (7 people) in July and it was truly an amazing experience. Location was fantastic, only steps from the Santangelo water stop. The apartment is the top two floors of an old palace with a rooftop deck. The apartment was breathtaking (lives up to the pictures), and would have been fine even if there were more of us. The entire process was easy and the communication was great. It was clean and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.

Paid too much.

First of all, the owner’s Venetian property manager was extremely helpful, accommodating, and responsive. He gets an easy five stars. The property itself is in a great location, and it provides a lot of space. However, it was not particularly easy to stay in, lots of quirks and little issues. There were issues with the boiler which were again, promptly addressed but led to us having no heat or hot water for 2 of our 6 nights and we were surprised not to receive any offer of recompense or communication from the owner about that.For a lower price these things would be fine to overlook, but for the price we paid I think we could have had a more comfortable stay elsewhere.

A grand stay on the grand canal

Our stay was nothing short of amazing.  The location was perfect, even at night, we never felt unsafe.  We were less than a 1 minute walk to the closest water taxi stop.  There was a local grocery store that was within a 5 minute walk.   The apartment was spacious, way more room than we needed for 5 adults.  The view from the roof deck terrace was breathtaking.  You can’t ask for more, when you are sipping an aperol spritz from your roof deck taking in the views of the grand canal.   Everything was clean and the kitchen was full of the tools you would need if you were planning to make meals.   10/10 would definitely recommend the apartment.  The 80+ stairs definitely were a work out, but they had a fully functioning elevator that guests could use as an alternative.

3 Generations in Venice

We had a fabulous time at this charming, well equipped apartment. It was huge. Only 3 bathrooms, so that was the only limitation on how many could be comfortable there. We were there with our grown daughter, husband, and her two teens, six people in all. The view from our outside rooftop terrace was spectacular. The old elevator to the apartment was quite cute, and did its job well. The antique windows and antique wooden furniture were charming. The apartment was just a few steps from the water taxi stop. It was convenient, although confusing, to walk around the entire island--GPS on our phones saved our lives. We had a wonderful week.

Lovely Location and Home

Grand Canal Terrace was very centrally located and the apartment was spacious and well equipped. The views were beautiful, proximity to water taxis could not be closer and grocery store less then 5 minutes away. My son plays the piano and it was wonderful to find out it was well tuned! The deck was a wonderful spot to have our morning coffee or glass of champagne prior to starting our evening. We recommend getting in touch with Roberto and arranging a private water taxi with Andrea to pick you up and bring you to the the airport - the cost may be high but to arrive in Venice under moonlight and depart with the sun rising is a memory that will live with you forever and worth every penny! Thank you for a beautiful four days Lydia!

Graduation trip to Italy

The property was a good size for our family of nine. The host was quick to communicate when I had a question and explained to us exactly how to get our Venice exemption codes for the weekend we arrived since it was one of the trial weekends for the new program. The location was great and handy being near a water bus stop. Had a good elevator to get us up to the fourth floor, quick and smooth ride. We were a little disappointed that one of the three bathroom's had limited use of the commode as it could not accommodate any toilet paper. And not all the in-room air conditioners worked. We also had a lot of trouble each time we tried to unlock the door. It was an old lock and took several tries to get it right. But that was probably user error!

Overall, excellent, but with some quirks

The property is in a great location.The apartment added to a true Venetian experience. It is a place that would be appreciated by artists; the decor/colors follow a theme from Gustav Klimt. But I dont believe its suitable for renting to families with young children. Some of the antique furniture is too delicate for use. Also, the window shutters are very old. We were worried that they would break during our stay, and could hurt someone if they fell on the courtyard below. The owners really need to replace them. Also, it a bit odd but part of the shower doors were missing. You could still take a shower, but the missing doors was unexpected , given the quality of the place. All in all, I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Venice. Take the time to appreciate the extraordinary views from the terrace, and the decor. If I ever come back to Venice, I would try to book this place.
