"Excellent sized room, clean property, excellent access via train. Air conditioning could be better - it had difficulty keeping up with the hot summer weather. It would be great if they could have ice available at the bar as the fridge in the room does not really cool drinks enough. Not a lot of good options around, but awesome very affordable pizza place 3 mins away with very affordable, excellent pizza, although only open 6pm - 9:30pn."

"Wonderful Stay — True Italian Hospitality! This hotel was absolutely wonderful—we did not want to leave! The staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They truly understand hospitality. The location was fantastic, right in the middle of everything and just minutes from the Rialto Bridge. We could easily walk to restaurants, shops, and major attractions. The full Italian breakfast was included and was a wonderful way to start each morning. The hotel also provided water and other drinks at no extra cost, which was such a thoughtful touch. The AC was fantastic and easily the best we experienced during our Italy trip! After long days of exploring, coming back to a cool, comfortable room made for some of the best sleep we had in Italy. We also appreciated the hotel's hospitality after checkout. They held our luggage while we continued exploring, which allowed us to enjoy our final hours in Venice without carrying our bags around. Everything about our stay was lovely. The location, staff, breakfast, comfort, and thoughtful extras made this hotel stand out. These people understand hospitality! We absolutely loved our stay and truly did not want to leave. We would happily stay here again!"

"Great stay at Pensione Guerrato. I stayed here once about 15 years ago & was happy to come back. Nice, large, cool, quiet & relaxing room to come back to after some hot & chaotic sightseeing. Great, quiet location tucked behind Rialto. Centrally located to walk everywhere. I hope to be back again someday :-)"

Carnival Palace Hotel

"Take the orange Alliguna water taxi from the airport then a five minute walk from the Giglio stop. $18 euros pp one way. This boutique hotel is perfect. Short walk to the touristy areas but far enough away to be scenic and quiet and feels like old Venice ! King bed was comfortable and the bathroom was awesome. We were upgraded to a junior suite room 121 with an excellent view of the canal. Well insulated for noise control too. Stay here and you will get your beauty rest!"

"The carpeting requires cleaning in common areas and in rooms. My bathroom sink had a very slow drain. Aside from thise personal opinions the property is very agreeable "
