About this property
Luxurious, detached chalet with Hot Tub + Sauna - in the 4 Valleys ski area
A modern, self catering Chalet on the Alpage de Thyon. At 1900m altitude, it is usually ski-in ski-out from property boundaries in good snow conditions. East facing with superb views to North, East and South, overlooking quiet woodland area with cross-country ski trail. Excellent local ski area, with nearest piste and lift (a high speed quad chair) only 400m away, that links to the Verbier/4 Vallée ski area. Highlights: Outdoor hot tub and indoor sauna; Wifi/broadband. In excellent order throughout, the main entrance on the ground floor, with porch and cloakroom, leads to a generous living area with leather sofas, TV, DVD and audio system, log burning stove and 2 doors out to the main balcony. The adjoining dining area has a large table for 10 people. The open plan kitchen has an island with ceramic hob and breakfast bar, as well as a door to the balcony. There are high quality electrical appliances with oven and microwave, and a large fridge/freezer. Top quality crockery (Villeroy & Boch), glassware and cutlery – sufficient for 10 place settings. On the upper floor, there is a double bedroom, a 2 bed bunk bedroom, shower room and a mezzanine area with two single beds (one as a hideaway bed) and cot. The mezzanine area is open to the stairs and overlooks the dining table. The area is fitted with a privacy curtain separating it from the other two bedrooms and bathroom. A door leads out to the upper balcony. Downstairs has 2 double bedrooms, shower room, sauna and utility/laundry room with heated boot rack. Door leading to lower garden area and top quality six seater hot tub. Heating is by electric underfloor heating, which provides a very comfortable temperature throughout the chalet and the log burning stove provides a super cosy glow if required. The whole Chalet has fantastic views of the Dent Blanche and surrounding Valais Alps.

Great chalet, the living area was even bigger than we expected from the photos, the hot tub is a plus. I've also never been at a rental where the kitchen was so well equipped - amazing!
Excellent chalet with stunning views close to ski slopes but in quiet area
Les Alouettes was as described. A great chalet for two families of four with extra 2 beds on a mezzanine. It was a shortish walk to a button/T-bar lift/bus to gondola - we used hire car to go to car park nearer lifts as too far for children in ski-boots. Not many food shopping outlets so worth getting a shop delivered (very efficient Coop service). The chalet was really comfortable with very good facilities for cooking (we didn't eat out at all). Lying in the hot tub looking up at the stars and distant mountains was a real treat. The snow was good for 4 days with heavy snowfall on 5th and powder skiing on final day/. The resort is very family friendly. The ski school was good and we had a great time.
We have enjoyed our stay at this amasing chalet immensely, the chalet is super equipped, rooms are well placed so it is perfect for two families with children and it is very easy to ski in and out. The sauna is quite large and one can relax in the jacuzzi and enjoy the wonderful mountains. Congratulations in particular for the extremely well equipped kitchen and the very nice long table in the dining room. The couch in the salon is also very comfortable and has enough space for everyone. We will try to return in the future!

Beautiful views, lovely chalet
We loved our relaxing time at the chalet. The views were great. The home is very nice.
The chalet is truly fully equipped with everything you can wish for in a skiing week: sauna, whirlpool, spacy table and sofa, and above all kitchen that has everything you need.
The ski resort Quatre Vallées is huge. Right next to the chalet are mostly family friendly slopes and the biggest snow park of the resort.
The hosts Warren and Sue are very friendly and helpful.

January 2016 Visit for Skiing 4 Vallees
We arrived after a recent heavy snowfall to find the roads, parking space and path down to the chalet cleared. Having visited previously in the summer we were delighted to find the panoramic mountain/valley view’s even more stunning with snow cover. Magical sunsets and sunrises on the distant peaks are alone worth a visit. The chalets aspect gives a sense of isolation while having close access to ski hire, restaurants and food shops. The chalet was very comfortable and well equipped for all ages. After a day’s skiing, moonlit visits to hot tub were particularly therapeutic for body and soul.
1m snow depth allowed ski in, ski out piste access - via some gardens and forest! The pistes were in near perfect condition; not at all crowded, Verbier area had more skiers, even so we never joined a queue of more than half a dozen all week. Best weeks skiing we have had for years particularly the itinerant routes.
Vielen Dank an Sue & Warren!
