"We had the most delicious lunch at Ro Bo, the hotel's restaurant which is on a par with a Michelin-starred establishment. The hotel manager was very friendly and gave us lots of great recommendations for things to do during our stay, including visiting the nearby Lascaux Caves. Our room was beautiful and quiet, and the air conditioning was perfectly set, which was great for catching up on sleep. We would come back here in a heartbeat!"

"We found this gem on our way south and so glad we stayed. The couple who hosted us were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the pool was incredible. It is a quiet town so there’s not much around but the city of Sarlat was wonderful. Sunday market is a must! "

"Nous sommes restés 2 nuits, si nous n'étions pas attendu ailleurs on serait resté plus longtemps. Les hôtes sont adorables. C'est un hôtel à taille humaine, très appréciable. "Beautiful pool and garden, beautiful quiet location - house was good but old fashioned and required more thorough cleaning and attention to detail on cleaning crockery, checking for bugs in house (cleaning again) and ensuring that all facilities were in good working order which they were not. Heating was broken, dishwasher did not clean properly, no hot water in evening, then internet went down in storm affecting TV, with little to no contact with owner. This house needs TLC as did we so we felt cold, neglected and disappointed with our holiday. Apart from one load of logs for the fire which cheered us up we were pretty much ignored by the owner except when he arrived to check the heating and the plumber tried to fix. But it came on once at 2am then that was it. So very sorry but it was all too frustrating. Better communication is required. "
