For parking, you can use the free parking areas located a short distance from the house or purchase a weekly pass directly from the parking operator MOVER spa (using the app available on their website), or visit a tobacco shop or newsstand to purchase one upon your arrival.

NEIGHBORHOOD: The liveliest part of Viareggio, with many shops and businesses. The pier where you can buy fresh fish in the morning straight from the fishermen’s boats; pastry shops where you can enjoy delicious breakfasts; many excellent restaurants serving traditional dishes featuring fresh seafood and Tuscan meats. Once you’ve parked your car (paid street parking is available with weekly passes, or free parking a few kilometers away), it’s easy to get around the entire city on foot, by electric scooter, or by bike—which you can lock to the bike rack in the square across the street.

The train station is a few kilometers away (1.6 km, 20-minute walk), from which you can reach all the most popular destinations: Florence (1.5 hours), Lucca (0.30 min), Pisa (0.30 min), Cinque Terre (1.00 h).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 1) ONLINE CHECK-IN via the Holive-Krossbooking portal: all guests will be required to provide their personal information and a valid ID in advance; this information must be further verified in person within 24 hours of arrival at the property, as required by Article 109 of the TULPS, either by one of our staff members or during a visit by the guests to the agency. In accordance with the requirements of Italian law: Article 109 of the TULPS, Article 12 of Decree-Law No. 59 of 1978, Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 286 of 1998, and Article 193 of Royal Decree No. 635 of 1940 (Reporting of guest data to the Police Headquarters), Article 84-bis of Regional Law No. 86/2016, Consolidated Law on the Regional Tourism System, which provides for reporting for statistical purposes (Reporting of data to the Region), and Article 70 of Regional Law No. 86/2016, Consolidated Law on the Regional Tourism System (Reporting to the Municipality).

2) During online check-in, guests are required to sign a rental agreement (Article 1, paragraph 4, Law 431/98), which is mandatory for staying in a vacation rental.

3) Guests must pay the City of Viareggio a tourist tax of 1.50 euros per person per day (for a maximum of 10 days) using the methods indicated, in accordance with municipal regulations.

4) You will be sent a set of house rules along with the home guide; you must follow them.

5) The property uses a self-check-in system where you’ll pick up the keys yourself from a mailbox. We’ll send you all the details a few days before your arrival.

Check-out by 10:00 a.m.; late check-out is available only if possible, upon request, and free of charge; for late check-out after 12:00 PM, an additional fee of €50.00 applies for the afternoon stay;

IMPORTANT RULES

-We remind our guests to observe quiet hours and be mindful of good neighborly relations.

-KEYS: Do not lose your keys; you may be charged a fee of €50.00 to replace the lock

-Heating: You may turn on the heating only starting in November, as mandated by the Region of Tuscany (it cannot be turned on earlier).

-Do not leave dirty dishes; instead, leave the dishwasher loaded and running at check-out so that the plates and glasses can be washed before the next check-out; you may be charged an extra cleaning fee of €50.

-There are no trash bins in the city; trash collection is door-to-door. It is essential to sort materials as indicated in the house. Failure to dispose of trash properly and allowing it to accumulate will result in a penalty of €60.00 to €150.00 for disposal at a landfill. If you’re unsure about the recycling process, we’re always available for further information.
