Great hotel close to the beach and beautiful rooftop terrace. Great breakfast. Not very close to the train and no shuttle available. Also very slow check-out; almost missed our train. I love the style of the building and how convenient it is for everything . The team there made me feel very welcome and looked after my every need . It was an amazing location for the carnival as was on the carnival route . Eating lunch on the sunny terrace hearing the noise of the carnival below whilst drinking wine was great also handy for Lucca and Cinque Terra

We stayed at the Palace for 2 nights as part of a Tuscany tour. The hotel is right opposite the beach and promenade . Parking is using the local street parking . Local restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. The hotel terrace bar is a must to witness the wonderful sunsets .
