Le Ancore is a true gem hidden down by the marina in Vico Equense. A colourful and vibrant hotel, with a staff was very attentive and went out of their way to make sure that our stay was exceptional.

Staff was wonderful, and the service excellent. Be aware the road in front of the property is VERY busy and a new bar recently opened across the street - owners play very loud music on the weekends! And be a bit cautious when turning on the shower - turn only about 1/2-way, otherwise the drain can't keep up with the flow and the bathroom will flood.

Very convenient location to restaurants and beach…within a few minutes walk. There’s also a saltwater pool. Rossella at the front desk was great. She went above and beyond to provide much needed assistance for an acute illness. Very nice, big and clean apartment. The only thing I was not impressed with was the breakfast. It was the same every day. They should change it up every other day.

We have just returned from a short stay at L'Ancore, and I can honestly say it is one of the best places we have ever stayed! Nothing is too much trouble for the staff; spotlessly clean and an excellent breakfast. Guests can use the facilities at the neighbouring, larger, hotel which offers a wellness spa, pool, private beach and outstanding views of Vesuvius. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

It was a clean and quaint hotel about 8 minutes from Vico Equense. Nice view of marina and balcony door was sound proof. The only so so part was the mattress and pillows. Not super comfy.

Katerina at the front desk made this hotel one of our favorite stays. She was very nice, helpful, and a joy to have conversation with. Our rooms were bright and clean, the breakfast had a lot of verity and parking was easy.

My Stay at Vico Equence

This hotel, was the highlight hotel of my tour of southern Italy. A beautiful building, across the street from the bay of Naples with an amazing view of the harbor and Mt Vesuvius beyond. What I liked is that it’s also across the street from the ferry which can take you to Sorrento, Positano and Almafi -which is much better than battling traffic and buses. The hotel is not walking distance from the train station, but they have a free shuttle service every hour or so. The buffet style breakfast was great! Id definitely love to return soon!

It’s a great very little hotel! BUT BEWARE the shuttle service is not as advertised. You will be waiting for it at the station and end up taking taxi. Location of hotel is good but sorrento is 40 min away by the time you get to train station and the train

One word - NOISY. The walls are paper thin - we could hear the people in the next room talk, sneeze, use the restroom, and other things best not articulated, which was horrifying for our child. We still cannot understand why staff put our family in a room next to a couple when all the other rooms were empty. When we decided to check out early after one night because of the noise (both inside and out), staff was unwilling to refund even a single night of our 4 night reservation. The woman at the front desk offered to talk to the manager to see if there was anything she could do. We don’t speak fluent Italian, but we do understand laughter, which they did several times during the conversation and ended in the same result of refusal to refund anything. If you don’t want to be kept up all evening by neighbors or street noise, this is not the place for you!

Mediocre Hotel with no Management

We had an excellent check in with Giuila at the hotel - she was the best part of our stay, very friendly and helpful. Overall I will give this hotel a B+. It’s a nice boutique hotel in the port area, but comes with very loud noises till 11pm, and the quiet downs after that. The hotel is far from Sorrento (15 min shuttle and 20 min train ride) or Positano ( by taxi 1.5hrs and 140 Euros) , so make sure you’re looking at that. The hotel beach as advertised is in the sister property right next door, and very busy as they allow paid visitors as well — very rocky beach. We had a terrible experience with the shuttle pick up from the train station. The shuttle is complimentary and it picks you up at a schedule. We asked to be picked up at 7:30pm and the shuttle driver never showed up and we were left stranded for an hour and half with no help! We called the hotel and at first the receptionist said the shuttle was delayed and will be coming, after calling again they said it left on time and we missed it - which was a complete lie. After calling again for some level of help and asking for a manager, the sister property receptionist Geinoma (wrong spelling maybe) was rude and not very helpful. I asked for a taxi to pick us as we had a long trip, no help !! I asked to speak to a manager in the morning — no call, nothing. I would definitely not be staying here again, and don’t recommend it for the location to see Amalfi Coast or having a pleasant stay.

Schitterend hotel met supervriendelijke medewerkers op alle niveaus, behulpzaam, spontaan, kortom "beautiful people". Een nette kamer met alle noodzakelijke comfort, proper, met airconditioning, rustige kamers met een prachtig zicht op de jachthaven. Een gevarieerd ontbijt. Zeer handig is de inbegrepen shuttledienst, meerdere keren per dag heen en terug naar het stadscentrum.We hebben er genoten van een zeer aangenaam verblijf

Topp beliggenhet og fint rom

Vi er to voksne og en tenåring, og bodde en uke i en minisuite på Le Ancore så tenåringen fikk eget rom. Det fungerte fint. Rene, fine rom, greit bad, og viktigst av alt: effektiv og stille aircondition. Kort veg til strand og spisesteder og fantastisk utsikt. Det går både hotell-shuttle og rutebuss til Vico Equense, og det er også en fin gangveg. God service og god frokost. Kommer gjerne igjen.
