"We had room 619 with kitchenette and small balcony, standing room only on the tiny balcony. Plenty of storage space and very nice room. Free tea/coffee in reception 7-11am We did not take breakfast at 19 euro each as delicatessen next door which was delicious. 5 mins walk to tram 71 into the city (6 stops);and only 1.5 Euro each for an 80 minute ticket (if aged 65) Highly recommend a stay here."

"The hotel is well located- close to trains to downtown. Some of their posted options do not seem to actually be there. There is a great grocery store and excellent restaurant for breakfast nearby, so I recommend eating there and buying laundry detergent at the grocery store to wash clothes as needed. They’ll dry quickly. There is also good gelato and some nice restaurants in the nearby church area. The staff - it’s best to know at least a little bit of German, as the staff responds much better to that. The room was cleaned every day. Street noise is very real at this hotel, but that is life! The room - was just fine. Bed was great, actually! The room was cleaned every day. Bathroom - no bath tub or hot tub and the shower is about the right size for a teenage ballerina. So, definitely keep that in mind if you’re visiting Vienna to eat the Schnitzel and Sachertorte. A larger shower would definitely be welcomed. The room key - this is an older establishment, so you must return and pick up the key each time you leave. It seemed to inconvenience the staff. Overall - good for the money. Again, location is excellent."

"Great location and gorgeous decor in this hotel. Huge comfortable lobby restaurant and garden where you can enjoy meals. Pool was a bit cold and sauna was cool (and nudist). But very pretty poolside area. Seating area in bedroom was fab and bed comfortable. Windows open and Aircon fine. Toiletries good."

"Excellent properly very convenient for arrivals by train from airport and connection to city by train. Also within walking distance to the centre of Vienna. Hotel smells nice - Amenities were good bed very comfortable. It was our 20th wedding anniversary hotel didn’t take any notice for our request for a room with a view instead we were on 4th floor with view of other offices in front of us. Breakfast was very good however, the person making hot breakfast was very rude and made customers wait for so long making eggs and waffles and on a couple of occasions send me away and said come back and he had given my waffle to another customer and I had to wait again! I think hotel needs to review this staff attitude and serving time. Also coffee and tea at the machine was nightmare with long ques. Other than that I would recommend the hotel but I wish they made more attention to our request to make our stay more special."
