The breakfast was to die for and we really enjoyed dining at the restaurant in The Bar. The location was very convenient for exploring Normandy. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. "The owner was very friendly and accommodating. I had a great time staying at the guest house, it is absolutely breathtaking. I would definitely stay longer if I could. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the shared door with the other guest room - it is locked shut but you can hear the voices through it. Otherwise can only recommend!"

"A lovely boutique style hotel within a short walk of all the sights Bayeux has to offer. Our room was clean and comfortable, with views of the cathedral. Aircon was excellent. Shower a bit tight but not a problem. The staff were superb, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to Johnny and Mathieu for their help with the new, simple (!!!???) toll free motorway charges. Chaotic!!! Mathieu sent us to his Tabac ami who sorted our problem. Brits beware!! All's well that end well. "

We were in a stand alone house operated by the hotel. The only issue we believe exists, is the need for additional seating in the common area. Such as a large sofa.
The location is a few minute walk to shops, restaurants, and the tapestry. A great home base for Normandy battle sights.

"This was our base during our visit to Normandy. Located in a central location to restaurants and shopping, it was a lovely historic hotel. There was no air conditioning, but there was a fan - which was great. Staff was courteous and helped with all our questions. Taxis are readily available to get to the train station. Will stay there again should we ever find ourselves in Bayeux. Exactly as described. "
