"Welcoming non existent and no information given regarding wifi etc. Room lacked tea making facilities. Room was in need of a thorough overhaul. Dusty and toilet pan stained and it wasnt superficial dirt either. Rooms tiny and area around not nice. It seemed like the 2 people we saw couldnt be borhered."

Antoine was a gracious and fun host to have—we availed ourselves of his offer of dinner (with a reasonable surcharge per guest) on the first night of our stay, and the breakfast both mornings was generous in size and perfect as a start for a day in the Loire Valley. The suite, La Longere, with its long hallway and quirky angles, was incredibly charming and perfect for our family of five—three comfortable single beds for them and a larger queen...
