We had an excellent stay in August of 2021. We enjoyed our room. The bed was comfortable and the area was very quiet. Great hosts, one of the best we ever met, seriously.

Super recommendable accommodation

Very nice place in fantastic surroundings. Lovely room, wonderful breakfast on the terrace and wonderful host couple. L’Ombrire is a small peaceful and intimate accommodation in an exciting and very beautiful area by the Dordogne River Highly recommended!

Accueil parfait de la part de Chloé et Gregory, chambre propre, spacieuse et pleine de charme, dans cette belle propriété tout proche de la Dordogne. Idéal pour visiter Sarlat ainsi que sa région. Petit-déjeuner copieux et fait-maison, pris sur la terrasse, avec vue sur la vallée. Dépendance accessible à toute heure pour prendre le thé ou un café, avec également un frigo.

Maison d’hôte exceptionnelle

Séjour fantastique à l’Ombrière, Chloé est absolument adorable et à pu nous conseiller sur les activités et meilleurs restaurant aux alentours. Les chambres sont très propres et décorées avec soin (sobre et très élégant). Le petit déjeuner est fait maison et absolument délicieux et varié. La maison d’hôte est idéalement située pour visiter la vallée de la Dordogne. Nous avons passé un très bon moment et regrettons de ne pas avoir pu y rester plus longtemps, nous y reviendrons!

The perfect bed and breakfast

L’Ombrière is the ideal b&b: beautiful, clean, comfortable, great location, and run by kind, friendly, and welcoming hosts, Chloé and Grégory. The rooms and gardens were a lovely home-base while exploring the nearby river, castles, and villages. The delicious breakfasts were prepared with care using local and organic ingredients. There is also a mini-kitchen available for guests, with a fridge and everything you need to make coffee, tea, or prepare picnics/salads. We were sad to leave and can’t wait to come back next year!
