"We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. There was a good amount of information on the area and a tv with current info on the volcano. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Overall,...

"A truly memorable, magical place. Well equipped with everything we needed. The heated bed was an especially nice touch. Really appreciated the incredibly thorough, detailed information about the area provided ahead of our stay. Perfect base for exploring Volcanoes NP. Only wish we could have stayed longer!"
"It is hard to explain, but it is like a treehouse in the jungle. Beatiful flowers, bamboo, trees, ferns, and moss. Carlos was exceptional in answering questions and being feiendly! The beds are very comfortable and sheets were unbelievable. Everyrhing was an A+!"
"What a lovely nature retreat! Peace, quiet, birds. Super easy access to pop in and out of Volcano NP. The house is beautiful and the hot tub quite relaxing after a day of adventuring about the island."
"This place was so unique and amazing!!! Very special place that we are lucky to have found. We also got there in time for the volcano to erupt. Proximity to the park was unbelievable and the management was extremely helpful and friendly. Cannot recommend enough.

"After the noise, craziness, and heat of Waikiki, this was a welcome relief. We were in Wolfie 3, one of 4 units nestled in the trees and the sounds of the Coqui frogs. The unit provides plenty of room for two with a separate bedroom, bath, and sitting room. A great location to be near the volcano. The local tap water isn't potable, but high quality bottled water is provided. A soothing spot. I'm bad at directions so had difficulty finding the check in place (beyond the hardware store) as well as the unit itself."
