“The Oaks” Helm™ model Container Home 12 min to Magnolia Market
Summary: Waco’s must stunning and unique vacation rental–the Helm by CargoHome! Step from the upstairs suite to the well-lit rooftop deck for an evening cocktail. A fusion of 2 shipping containers, 20' and 40', the interior of this unique home is insulated and paneled in pine shiplap and trimmed in 100+ year old barn wood. One bedroom and bathroom downstairs and one bedroom and bathroom upstairs allows for two private suites for couples traveling together. Only 12 minutes from Magnolia Silos and Baylor.
The Space: This unique home started as two shipping containers–20' and 40'. We insulated and paneled the interior in pine shiplap and trimmed it out in 100+ year old barnwood. The outside is clad with cedar siding with spacing to allow the original container to still be seen. Entry is through the original container doors or a side entry with a standard door. We removed the steel panels from the doors and replaced them with picturesque full glass. The fun rooftop deck is surrounded by a custom cable railing system and lit with LED lights under the rail that gives the deck a beautiful glow at night. The deck and upstairs bedroom is accessed by an exterior spiral stairway.
The Neighborhood: The location is a safe rural neighbourhood, just north of Waco and close to I-35. Surrounded by trees, cattle graze nearby. Guests are also welcome to use the lawn. Shop and eat in Homestead Cafe and Craft Village. only 3 minutes away by road.
Getting Around: You can park right at the house and Uber is available.
Interaction with Guests: We live right around the corner so are available for anything you need including any questions on the house or your time in Waco. We’ll try to meet you to show you the house if possible but you can also check yourself in with the passcode we’ll send you the day of check-in.

Had a wonderful time in this adorable and sweetly decorated unique contianer home. Felt like staying in a treehouse in the upstairs suite! A perfect place off the beaten path to relax and enjoy while visiting the area. Highly recommend!
The House was clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfy and the surroundings were quiet. There were a few issues with the bathroom doors being off the rollers and it was somewhat difficult to find (better signage would be very helpful). Overall, a good place to stay for one night.

Cute little place! Has everything you need. I will stay again if in the area.
Great place to stay! Beautiful, clean and so fun! Loved the little community of tiny houses. Beautiful views. Serene and quiet.
The queen beds were so comfortable and all linens clean and fresh.
Communication with check in and details regarding the house were available and easy.
We had everything we needed and would definitely stay there again!
Beautiful, well-appointed tiny home close to Waco attractions
This property is as advertised…neat, clean, beautiful, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches. Comfortable beds, hot water, soft towels, and comfortable seating as well as a great rooftop deck. The spiral staircase is not for the weak-at-heart! It feels off the beaten path with beautiful surroundings but is close to all the Waco attractions. We’ll be back

This place is awesome! It’s safe, close to the silos and the staff communicates well. I would definitely recommend this place it’s cozy and more convenient than a hotel. You won’t regret your stay here.
Cute! Perfectly like pictures and described. All amenities and our favorite was the upstairs patio. It felt seclusive with near accessibility to everything we needed. We will return and share with others.

The container house was absolutely adorable and looked like something out of Chip and Joanna Gaines’ show. It was such a cute place and it had everything you could possibly need. I will most definitely be back!
The tiny house was beautiful! Super comfy, the bed was amazing! Sparkly clean place, even smelled delish. Loved the design, deco and that top terrace! Absolutely wonderful. Communication with the owners was easy and they were on top of everything! Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Absolutely recommended!
Had a nice time in Waco-we especially enjoyed the staying in the shipping containers. Both units were very clean, tastefully decorated and much more spacious than the online photos. The owners went above and beyond communicating with us — which is always a plus. We had a very fun and pleasant experience and we cannot wait to come back again!
It was adorable decorated and super comfortable. I love the idea of a tiny house village. It was the perfect place to stay on our quick trip Waco!

We loved the quietness of the property as well as the convenience of being close to everything in Waco! The website was the best I've ever seen that explained how to use and where everything was located as well as what to do and where to eat! We didn't cook there so can't comment one way or the other about that but it was very clean and had plenty of towels and coffee for us!!
This was our 1st time to the Waco area and our first for staying in a Tiny House. It was sooooo much fun!!! Enjoyed every minute of the stay. Definitely would recommend and stay again!
