"I had never stayed here before but the rates were much better than all the others so I was kind of skeptical at first. But upon arriving and checking the room out, I was pleasantly pleased. It comes with a small kitchen area which most do not, especially for the price. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others. The staff are very nice and helpful and that’s a rarity as well. My wife keeps a log on the good, bad and ugly of the rooms we stay in for a future reference and this will most assuredly go into the good list. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this very unique home! Just as the description says this is a time capsule! We loved the many touches that matched the time period. The home is comfortable and we also loved the neighborhood. The home is also stocked with family games as well! If you are looking for a quite getaway in that is different than the norm this is the place. It is only a short distance to Greenville. Adams Bistro nearby is a good local restaurant. We also found Country Boys nursery nearby with awesome plants and home decor. "

"Breakfast was very good. Several selections. Only items with room to mention are, one. The TV comes on at Max volume with no way to prevent it in any settings. The volume switch on remote will lower the sound, but it takes a long time to reduce the volume. Apologies to anyone in an adjoining room. Secondly, the hair dryer was wonky. The switch on the dryer did not work (broken). The only way to use was to press the reset button on the plug to get it to come on (at high temp, no low temp available). And to turn it off, press the circuit breaker switch on the plug. Other than that, the facility, the room and overall stay was very good. "

"A quick weekend trip for 65-year friends! We started 1st grade together and all graduated together in 1972. We try to meet up at least once a year just to talk and learn about what’s going on with each other- more than the text communication we keep up. The house and location were perfect. We did a little of the downtown “scene”but mostly enjoyed our time just talking and catching up. The house was so clean, comfy and welcoming and the host was very responsive each time we had a question. Her kindness and sweet spirit were delightful!"
