"Air conditioning was great. Room was clean. Staff is exceptional! "

"Check-in took over an hour after valet parking & waiting for the check-in line. App check-in was not functioning properly. Room was tidy but in need of deeper cleanings & repairs. There was a rust pool under the toilet & the bathroom wall was peeling next to the sink. Carpet had several stains & felt dirty under foot. The walls outside of the elevator on our floor were dingy & in need of scrubbing. I’ve stayed in 2 star hotels in better condition. Pool was nice, having a Starbucks available & other amenities was a plus. But really disappointed in the overall state of the hotel outside of the main lobby. "

"The room was beautiful and enjoyed having a balcony to relax with coffee in the morning. We were able to take walks around the property and it felt as if we were in the countryside. "

"Blinds were broken in my room, unable to roll it up or down. Mentioned it to staff- nothing done. 1 elevator was working, so there were long waits and you had to ride with cleaning carts. Parking lot is seperate from the building. An elevator down to "T" and a walk past the pool to another outside building to another elevator- not convenient. Had a better stay with a more hospitable staff at BUCKHEAD LOCATION. Garbage can was overfull during breakfast and the waffle batter on floor was a hazardous moment waiting to happen. Location was walking "distance close" for things to do and restaurants."

"I had a quiet, peaceful stay. The hotel is beautiful, the room was spacious and clean. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops in the downtown area of Decatur which was also very well maintained and quaint. Overall I had a fabulous stay!"

"The OYO was a nice improvement in overall conditions compared to the 10 days at the Economy Inn, the OYO is a little dated, but they had hot water and a decent TV, the air conditioner and heater worked great, the only drawback were all the CRACK HEADS roaming around yelling at no one or yelling maybe an act person, there are several decent places to eat like the Chicken and biscuits place and plenty of bodegas to get snacks and drinks!"

"This hotel is a hidden gem. The location is walking distance to downtown Decatur with great restaurants and shopping. The hotel is very clean. They offer breakfast and the staff is very kind and helpful. Great stay! "
