"I did not realise that we were staying in a plantation village, with multiple accommodation. I had made a request for two beds and, as it was a slow time of year, we got two bedrooms. Pahala is a very cute town (and currently the only one with a grocery store as the one in Naalehu was no longer as at 28 Jan 25). The people were also really friendly. "Yurt was very clean, and well appointed with dishes, cups, silverware, coffee & sugar packets. At arrival, host showed us how to use the camping type toilet & separate incinerator toilet. Also gave us some suggestions on things to see in the area, and popular bakery 29 minutes away. Highly recommend if you’re staying in the area"

"Comfortable amenities"

"This is our second time to stay here. We loved it, and came back because it was so quiet and comfortable, and such a beautiful place and view. The yurts are well equipped and clean. The elevation makes for comfortable cool, but not cold, nights. The central sky light is spectacular at night with so many stars. It is calm and quiet and beautiful with various flowers. "The yurts were well appointed with everything needed to enjoy a stay. (Coffee, cream, condiments, shampoo, conditioner, towels, kitchen appliances, potable water crock, linens, beach towels, etc) It was perfect for us with our kids. We enjoyed 2 nights and got to really check out all south point has to offer.The bathrooms are at the back of the deck that connects the yurts, they had two toilets, two sinks, and a shower.
