About this property

Nature on your door step

  • Whether you’re here for a night or a week, we hope you leave feeling rejuvenated.
    Nestled into a hill with farmland at the back & surrounded by mature trees, you’re really feel at one with nature. Please note that the cottage is close to our house. We have free range chickens, a cat, a dog and a 3 year old. You will see the animals and hear us in the yard but we are respectful and want to share our space.
    Waitati lagoon track & Drs Point beach a short trip away. Easy stroll to Blueskin Bay Nursery Cafe for an amazing brunch/lunch morning/arvo snack. Harvey St Merchant is a must stop for Pure NZ ice cream & Blueskin Bay Gallery for a glass of something & a pizza or check out Arc Brewery.

Relax in Waitati

A great get away, close to Dunedin, but in a world of its own. Nearby estuary and Drs Point are beautiful and fascinating window on wildlife. Property is modern, clean & comfortable. Enjoyed my stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.The unit was beautifully clean with all you require.I loved having the chickens and cat to keep us company.The only thing to be aware of is you are quite close to the hosts property.

Quaint

It was a private place with an amazing setting. A nice view off the front. Well treed so plenty of birds. A pair of Rosellas came to visit at 20 metres in the morning. Very clean and spacious. Close to Doctors point, the ecological conservation park and Akamoana.
