We stayed for two nights. The hotel’s photos are misleading they show a newer lakeside property that is actually a different section not included in our booking.
For a 4-star hotel, the room was very basic: no fridge or kettle, and the furniture felt old and cheap. While the room was clean and breakfast was excellent, the overall experience did not justify the price.
Access from the parking is also inconvenient, with multiple doors and stairs, making it difficult with luggage.
Overall, it felt like the expectations set by the photos were much higher than the reality.
The pictures of Hotel front are misleading! We thought we were booking a hotel right on the lake, instead the hotel was by a main road - 10 mins walk from a swimming spot at the lake. So, we were a bit disappointed. The man at reception explained that its a mistake made by Hotels.com and not their hotel. They do indeed have a hotel on the lake, but only with suites, at 100Euro extra.
Apart from this, the hotel was a good experience, with clean pool, brilliant spa and amazing healthy breakfast buffet.
The front picture of the hotel when we made the booking, was from another hotel. The beautiful hotel right on the lakeside, is not the hotel you book. The staff agreed that this was misleading, but would not do anything about it. They even said 'you should tell hotels.com to fix their website'. Very frustrating to put the responsibility on the customer, and I have learned since that they have been informed several times before. This is a scam and I can only warn others against it. Several customers had difficulties getting out of the garage because it was too crowded, and again the staff tried to out the blame on the customers. Really not a nice visit.
