"This place is truly incredible and one-of-a kind. It is just a couple steps to the walking trail and the lake is just steps away - I'm listening to the geese as I write this! I'm here for a scent work/dog show at the Rice County Fairgrounds, so I'm so thankful that the Brick and Vine is dog friendly! Make sure to schedule more than just a few nights here... you will need a few days to shop, eat and explore Wauseca. I will be back!!"

"A ton of space for a large group to enjoy company, own rooms, a perfect size for a group with 9 children!! Plenty of table space to eat together also, the kitchen was well equipped with plates, utensils, etc. The host was very responsive. Would definitely stay again."

"The hotel was okay. The staff did a great job getting us into our room. The key card reader was not working so our door was open on arrival and when we came back they let us in with their master key. I did feel for the woman helping us as she had to let every guest who came back to the hotel into their room. We were staying because of a wedding in town and the hotel was full because of that. The beds were comfy although they looked like they had been made in a hurry. The carpet in the hall was a bit dated and looked like it needed vacuuming. The room had kinda of a sweet Smokey like smell. Like covering up smoking although the sign on our door said no smoking. For an overnight it was fine. Not the newest of hotels but again, the two women who helped us were great."

"Great accommodations for lots of people and a fun property! The game room is a nice area as well. We enjoyed a great family reunion there.We were disappointed that the jet tub in the Royal suite was not working. And the dishwasher broke down as well. The other rather funny thing was the grill had a mouse nest with 2 babies and mama. We wanted to grill but didn't want to disturb the new little family!Could use some "refreshing" and deep cleaning, but was good overall."
