Ocean Front Home, Hot Tub & Miles of Sand to Explore!

Tucked away on a quiet lane just south of the mouth of the Alsea River in Waldport, Oregon, is your very own Peace of the Beach. The floor to ceiling windows in the family room and dining room bring the ocean to you and flood the rooms with sunlight. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the family room along with a wood burning fireplace and a flat screen TV. You will love the sleek and crisp design of the well stocked kitchen. Beyond the kitchen is a mud room with access to the deck and a full bath. There's a billiard room where you can watch your favorite sporting event and rack up the memories. Next to the billiards room is a bedroom with a full bed that has a pull out twin trundle. It is the perfect bedroom for the kids to stay up late giggling and dreaming of tomorrows big adventures. On the opposite side of the home are 2 more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other is the master suite with a king bed and a full futon. The bathroom is ensuite for privacy and comfort.

The ocean front yard has a very private platform tucked into the coastal foliage. A perfect place to sit quietly and take in the Peace of the Beach. Enjoy the sunsets from the fantastic deck and oceanfront hot tub. The view of the beach is lovely from this home and access to the sand is a very short walk to a deeded neighborhood path.

Sleeps up to 8 - 3 Bedrooms, 1 King, 1 Queen, 1 full/twin trundle, 1 full futon, 2 Bath.
Vehicles: Licensed for 3 (strictly enforced)
Winter: 2 night minimum; Standard & Holidays: 3-4 night minimum

Age Requirement: The primary registered guest must be at least 26 years of age. The majority of guests must be over 25, or children under adult supervision.

This home does not allow cat guests or other non-human, non-canine visitors. Dogs are welcome at this home but must be registered in advance and paid prior to arrival. This home has a 3-dog maximum occupancy! Pet Guests: One time $35+tax fee per dog. Pet fees are not included in the original reservation.

Fantastic Home

Beautiful property!! Amazing views!! We stay a lot on the coast when we visit our daughter and her family in Oregon. This was by far the best place we have stayed at for every reason. Clean, well equipped, comfortable, great home and beautiful views. Will be back again! Thank you!

Super Comfortable Beach House in the middle of everything.

I've made many trips to the Oregon coast, I've been down south, and up North. Waldport seemed like the perfect location, a short drive to Depot Bay, Newport, Yachats, Florence. The drive to all these locations is some of the best coastal highway driving in the state. The house was very clean and VERY dog friendly. I loved that the flooring was all laminate. Beach access is very close and a short walk through the beautiful neighborhood. It was very quiet, and the yard was mostly (missing a few fence slats) fenced in and perfect for our dogs. I've stayed in other homes where visitors didn't always pick up after their pets. In this location I didn't see one "dropping" that was not picked up. There was also anything you could need at the local grocery store, the prices were a little more expensive than walmart, but that is to be expected, it was nice that if we needed something it was a short 5 minute drive into town. The only suggestion that I've had in other properties that was missing here were some "dog" towels. It rained a lot and luckily I brought my own towels, but the towels provided were very white (very clean), and I would have hated to use them to dry off my dogs. Overall this was one of our favorite trips to the coast, and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great place to stay but the kitchen fell short

This house was wonderful. It had great access to the beach and was easy to find and locate. The layout was great and we had plenty of room. It was just my family (spouse and 2 kids) but another family easily could have stayed with us too. We loved the amenities of the washer and hot tub and our kids loved the pool table. We are giving it a 4/5 stars because of the kitchen. While it says that there are basic amenities in the cupboards there was a salt and pepper shaker and that is it. If you needed “staples” like flour or something else you have to buy all of that or bring it with you. The ovens were older and a bit small and the cookie sheets provided did not fit in them. The cabinets also hang very low so two small appliances we brought (espresso machine and grinder) did not fit under them. There was also very little counter space and the sink lacked a garbage disposal. This was very frustrating for meal clean up and prep. However, I would say that if you need a place to lightly prepare or just serve food, this kitchen would be fine. Plenty of dishes etc. If you are really looking to COOK food by utilizing the ovens and stove (we do this for money saving/health reasons) it’s had a few annoyances that kept it from being a 5 for us. Having said all that, our beds were comfortable. The tablet check in process was awesome. Towels and linens were clean and the view and location to the beach is unbeatable. I would stay here again but plan meals a bit different knowing the limitations of the kitchen. Thanks for a wonderful week!

“Piece” of Dream at the Beach

FABULOUS!! Your beautiful home was a dream come true for me!! It was cozy, comfortable and fresh!! The enclosed yard was beautifully landscaped and just felt right!! And the view was AMAZING! I loved how it was all one level, perfect for my dachshunds (they don’t like stairs) and I felt like this was the type of home that I could live in for the rest of my life and feel content!! Everything was clean and we had no issues with anything! The working fireplace and the pool table was a plus!! Thank you for allowing us to experience your wonderful home! We would definitely love to stay again next time we go to the coast!

PNW Getaway

Location, Location, Location. Breathtaking views, View of the ocean while sitting in the hot tub, relaxing after 3 months of 60 hour work days was medicine to my soul. Short day trips to Yachats and Newport. Only negative was grass was not cut. Otherwise, clean and worth every penny.

Our favorite Spot

We come here every few years to de-stress and spend family time. Everything is made very easy for us, from check in to check out. The rules are reasonable, and the managers get back to us right away if we need anything. It is a beautiful home, easy to keep clean, a lovely place to hang out, beautiful view of the beach (love those sunsets!), and about a 3 minute walk from the beach. Highly recommend, but don’t take our “week!” 😉

Long weekend getaway

Wonderful location with amazing views and close beach access. Close to restaurants in yachats and waldport. Would like to have a fire pit and there is an opening to a drop off which is not great for having a toddler around. It should be blocked off.

Great quiet location

We had a dual family stay at this lovely beach house. As others have stated it’s not an easy space to make meals as the kitchen is tight but we still made it work! The cleanliness I gave a 4 because there was hair on the bathroom floor and dog poop on the lawn when we arrived but otherwise it’s great. I think the restrictions on washing towels and having to pay for others is excessive but overall a great stay!
