"I stayed here whilst working away. The place is very clean and modern; everything looks brand new. The other review states the bed was too hard; I found it to be extremely soft. I’m wondering whether one side is harder than the other as it’s basically two single beds made into a king. The owner was friendly and helped show me round. "We booked the property for our second night of 4, cycling Avon and Kennet Canal. We were hoping to arrive earlier than stated check in, to make use of fridge before we set off on our bikes for the day, Alex was extremely helpful and gracious in immediately responding to our request with a yes. "Fantastic stay, really lovely little cottage. Kept really nicely and very clean. Close to Bath too!"

"While the room itself was fine, the entire building was being painted while we were there and the paint fumes were unpleasant. There were two full jars of Dolmio pasta sauce sitting in the hallway for the entire duration of our stay which was weird. The building's entrance opens directly onto a busy bus stop which had a crowd of chain smoking, seedy looking types there at all hours. This meant emerging into a cloud of cigarette smoke when leaving and feeling vulnerable when entering the code...
