The peaceful location, right on the Pennamaquan River, is perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking, or enjoying a campfire in the fire pit. The hosts have gone above and beyond to ensure that guests are comfortable and have everything they need. The perfect balance of rustic charm and creature comforts!"

"Mary, the host, was excellent with communicating any requested info about the house and town of Eastport. We were three older couples who needed comfortable bedrooms, and happily all beds were very comfortable with no lumps or sags. The two queen bedrooms on the second floor both had roomy closets and dressers so there was plenty of space to unpack into; the small connecting bathroom had a shower/tub, sink and toilet. Downstairs, the trundle bed/office room had direct access to the bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet, That bathroom also opened to the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area a good size for six people. There were condiments in the fridge from previous tenants, spices, herbs and other basics. We appreciated all of the games in the house and also a great selection of books. The laundry room had a sink, a place to hang clothes if needed, and a closet with extra paper towels and toilet paper. We've been renting houses in Maine for about 20 years and this was among the best equipped for daily needs. The view of the beach and water were wonderful, and the road by the house was perfect for a good no traffic half hour walk."

"This is an ideal place to stay when visiting Eastport and everything there is to do in this area! The view is stunning, the house is perfectly locked in to quickly get into Eastport, and the owners have taken care to fully outfit in the house with anything you may need during your stay, including a beautiful, welcome bag of local specialties!"

"Wonderful host and wonderful stay. Host made it easy to check in, easy to communicate and made us feel welcome. The property is very quiet and peaceful, the cabin was appointed nicely and the bedroom was super cozy for a great sleep. Dedicated easy-access parking spot was a bonus. The proximity to Moosehorn National Park was amazing. We will stay here again."

"Everything was 5*s. The upgraded game room was unbelievable. Arcade machines, inside 2 basketball hoop tossing, corn hole, croquet, air hockey, billiard table, more books,etc. All outside sitting areas arranged comfortably. Outdoor lighting to identify areas. Kayaks, pfds, paddles, available, with instructions and cautions. Pet- friendly as many doors were available to close off areas. I suppose doors could be used for just about anything, children, privacy, meditation Outdoor , play swing, slid, ropes, thing (I dont know the name All our nieces and nephews from 2 thru 11 had a great time there and around the open grass area.) Kitchen was equipped like a Micheline multistar, and food preparation area that was HUGE. Everything one would need for a week vacation was there, except your clothes. Our second visit for family reunion. Fire pit was there. I just can't say enough about how awesome it was. thanks from Sam and family. A memorable time."

"We loved being so close the the water, only steps away. The use of the canone and kayaks were a great way to explore. The cabin was big enough for our family with plenty of room on the screened porch. There are a few holes in the screen, allowing mosquitoes to come in. We saw loons, dear and a bald eagle which was exciting. My only concern was the cameras outside and the ring door camera. We felt like our coming and going were being monitored by the owners."

"Beautiful setting in Northern Maine. The check in was super easy. We arrived to a spotless cabin with windows and door open allowing refreshing, pine smelling air into the cabin. The setting couldn't be more beautiful with the cabin nestled in the trees with a river running through the back. Hearing the stream at night through the windows was super relaxing. The cabin is rustic but truly in a perfect story book way. It has everything you need plus a beautiful stone fireplace and wood stove which we did not need with the almost 90 degree heat. I wish we would have had more time to stay. This cabin was a perfect home base for us as we explored all the area had to offer."
