The Space:

THE HOME: 3 bedrooms on upper level: one Queen with adjustable base (so you can raise or lower the head and foot, set to zero gravity, etc.), and a second Queen that doubles as a home office with standing desk, large PC monitor (bring your cables) and printer. Third bedroom has a twin and lots of storage space. It's a small room, best for a child or someone who doesn't need a lot of bedroom space. It's cozy! Upstairs full bath recently renovated with freshly glazed tub for soaking and lights that dim.



Fully equipped open-floor plan gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, good knives and cookware. Newly re-decorated living space. Mid-century modern style. Leather recliner. Beautifully landscaped, fenced back yard with fire pit, eclectic outdoor furniture, and lovely deck and fence lighting.



Den or bedroom: Lower level den with fold out couch (we provide a foam mattress topping and all linens), second desk for working, tv, adjacent full bathroom, washer and dryer, and access to back yard. Dogs are not allowed on this level.



Beautifully landscaped, fenced back yard with patio, fire pit, and eclectic outdoor furniture give you an outdoor retreat to enjoy as well! Deck has a table for two, an umbrella, and a daybed. Street parking either right in front of the home or within a few spaces.



LOCATION: Walk to local Del Ray Farmer's Market, several coffee shops, sushi, pizza, Italian, French, etc. Amazing cheese shop/restaurant and local butcher. Also only a few blocks away is a Capital Bikeshare bike rental, as well as a co-op bike shop. Walk to Aldi, CVS, YMCA, bike/walking trail that goes all the way to Mt. Vernon Estate in one direction and Washington, DC and beyong in the other. Miles of trails. Great dog park only 2 blocks away. Close to Historic Old Town (1.5 miles) with its many boutique shops and restaurants, and an amazing Farmer's Market dating back to George Washington's day. Sailing, paddle boarding, and kayaking opportunities on the Potomac.

The hip and friendly Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria offers many amenities. A yoga and pilates studio, YMCA, playground, tennis courts, dog park, coffee shops, vintage flea market, year-round farmers market. Many restaurants and trendy shops are steps away. Enjoy an amazing cheese shop and local butcher. Many community events. For convenience, walk to Aldi or CVS. Adventure on the Mt. Vernon bike/walking trail.

CLOSE TO the INOVA Alexandria Hospital, INOVA Mount Vernon Hospital, Virginia Hospital Center, George Washington Hospital, Medstar Georgetown Hospital, Bridgepoint Hospital, INOVA Fairfax Hospital, and more! A 20 min walk to the Metro, a 15-20 min. drive to D.C., and 1.5 miles from Historic Old Town.

Rental agreement required and sent separately. We greatly appreciate if you fill this out promptly and thank you for doing so. Access instructions will be send three days before check-in, as long as we have received the agreement. Many thanks for your cooperation!



DOGS: We love dogs! We charge $25 pet fee per night, per dog. Please let us know if you are bringing a dog, and we will request payment separately. Dogs may not be locked in any rooms or kept on outdoor porches.



TRASH: Please pull cans to street Wednesday evening and back again Thursday after pick up. Some holidays push collection to Thursday. Just observe what neighbors are doing. Thanks!
