The restaurant was closed on our night there. We were disappointed as we were looking forward to homemade noodles. We found a restaurant near by and enjoyed the boardwalk. Few places that you can walk the water edge. Very quiet and a great stop. Breakfast was magnificent.

Mid-Kerry Stay.

Great location in a small beach town. Lovely owners whom were kind to chat with. Dinner in house was the best Italian I’ve had and I’ve traveled all around Italy. Wonderful place to stay a night in the middle of the Ring of Kerry. Coffee at the Fox Coffee wagon was the best in Ireland.

a beautiful seaside village well off the beaten path. I don't recommend the shortcut thru the mountains unless 22 miles of 8 ft wide road appeals to you. The couple who own and operate old cable house are outstanding. Breakfast was excellent, they have a nice little bar, and they make you feel very welcome. It is a couple hundred meter walk to get to "downtown"...very small. My only criticism is the hardware, doors, fixtures, etc. are well used and in some cases loose.

There were no any communications from the property owners, we have arrived during check in window and the owners were surprised they have guests. The room was clean, ok comfortable, the lady seems irritated, maybe had a bad day.

Not what I chose.

The owners were great. However we were given two separate rooms upon check in. One with a restroom and one without. This was not what I had chosen. It was terribly inconvenient to have to get up in the middle of the night and unlock my door, go across the hall and unlock restroom door each time I needed to use the restroom.
