Bathtub was not clean - Bed seemed to be old and very uncomfortable with dips in it. The woman doing check in was not a very pleasant person didn't even make eye contact or ask about stay. I am happy we only were staying 1 night.

We had a beautiful week in Smithfield. The main house was a great place for our family dinners,for our family of 18. There's everything you need and the beds were super comfortable. The lake was warm but very shallow. Great area for hiking as well. We even went rollerskating next-door.

only had to drive over to the next exit to get to the movies, and we ate two different times at the Governor's Rest, which is less than a half mile from the Hotel.
